From what I saw, the TKC70 is 90% for asphalt and 10% for soil and especially for dry only. It sinks quickly into the mud. There, only our nobies save us in the mud, nothing else, but with them we can not have demands on the asphalt. The TKC70 is not different than other manufacturers of the same tire class. Just the engraving changes a little for aesthetic and marketing purposes. This particular has been taken from the old TW 101/152 trail wing, especially the front. Many times the basic layout is the same and adds or subtracts sections to look different. Even the materials they use for construction are almost the same. There is not yet the magic tire for everything.
I have been watching tyre videos for the last few weeks. The TKC80s on my GSA are reaching that time. It has only done around 2500 miles and probably has about another 500 miles left on it. I am yet to see a review like a review you have done by any of the tyre manufacturers. So, let give you a massive THANK YOU for taking the time to make this video. I think Conti should sponsor you! I will go with TKC70 to test them out. I am torn between the Heidenau's and the Conti.
Nice all round test but whats the conclusion ? It's hard to tell how much the rider had to struggle with the tire, could you provide a word or two, is it worth buying ? Which tire does it compare to ??

I like it the way the video was made. Very little jabber, it just shows you what the tire can do.
thanks for posting. very good test. what's the verdict?
Which tyres were you using in the front ?
What TK 70 on the rear? Rock or just TK 70's???
Just TKC-70, I believe this was before the Rock version was released
Is that Frank Rains?
At 5:50 you're over the double-yellow line on a blind curve. Not the smartest thing to do. Ride smart. Stay alive.
look at the channel name, what do you expect? ^^
Hey thats Frank Raine's... right?
the blue 800 looked much easier to handle off road. tyres look a little more off road bias maybe
nice video………… but no comment from the pilot
Thanks for the vid guy! Great perspective! To all the critics....get a life
Get a tripod, the shakiness of the video is borderline painful...
that was painful to watch
Why was that painful ? He was demonstrating a range of road and off road conditions. I was surprised these tyres coped with so much.
I don't understand his choice of throttle on the dirt, So sporadic
Voxel Lab quote 100%
Does he know he has a clutch?
forget it.. it's not for you... 🤪
u look risky
TKC70s are rubbish on anything but blacktop or very very well maintained dry dirt. Off road they are dangerous at best.
