I have not gotten much further then building exterior, a lot of projects inside the house taking priority these days. I'll follow up down the road when I can finish my electrical and insulation then I will be doing the interior which will be sheetrock free!

Thank you Rick for responding to my comment. I have another comment: do you have any pics of the back and sides. I would be nice to see pics of the back and side. Please make a video of the back and side and the interior or walk through. I would love to see the stairs and how they run.
2x6. garage section 40x32 w/12-6" ceiling, entertainment area 10x18 w/9' walls (vaulted ceiling with loft from the front overhanging 2'). the dormers I could get dimensions on if you want. could also do a walk-around and inside video if people are interested
@@heathers3406 yes we did and have yet to build due to the STUPID economy and the pricing of such a Garage! I was looking at this style just weathered in (Framing, Windows, doors, siding, and roof) 30X42 with 8ft mudroom attached and we are looking at about $125k (that price is "Friend Price" as I know builders, before 2020 we could have had the same build for 75K.) Needless to so we are saving to pay most cash.
Kevin, the roof is a 10/12 pitch. a bit difficult to work on the dormers from the roof. I used a chicken ladder with raised rungs and a lifeline at the ridge. only working an hour or two evenings and weekends took a while to get them finished. windows are 32" and the dormer exterior is 66" wide.
Jon, I did a time-lapse of the framing because I had a guy do the framing for me and he did it all in less than 2 weeks. its been 3 years now and other than the building exterior (doors, windows, siding) nothing else is done. wouldn't make for a great video...
Love it. I would love to see the inside. Thanks for sharing this video!!!
Rick that is one hell of a nice garage! Please show us how it looks all finished that would be cool!

Can you tell me roughly what it would cost to build that building same style and size
Very nice any update?
Great Garage...do you have plans that we can purchase??? Also, the total cost would be helpful...thank you!
What size of beam was that used for the middle joist support.

A Deus toda honra e toda a gloria.
What is then overall costs to build something like this?
Killer garage
Do you have a video showing the inside of the completed building. I would like to see it.

Hey Rick! Very nice, would like to do something like that too. Can you tell me where you got your plans from? and is that a 2x6 or 2x4 framing?

Do you have plans or drawings and did you use an architect.
Im looking at building something very similar!
Did you ever get a cost? We have a similar design in TN estimate came in at $230k. - building into a hillside so lots of concrete in ours.

what is the pitch of the roof. Is this 12/12 pitch and what are the size of the dormers

Awesome video. I want to build something almost identical. How many sqft will you have finished in upstairs when you’re done?
32x40 + 10x16 in a stepped down loft area
Any plans available
Good job
Congrats on the wedding. How about a shop tour/ finished project?
How long did the construction take?
about 11 days in February around freezing temps and short days.
what was the total cost?
Garage or house?
Shop... and house?
Why do so many of these type of videos on TH-cam finish with no real finished project? Seems pointless to me!

I pray God send us some builders, in Jesus name Amen 🙏
