As an old school Godflesh and Jesu fan this really made me smile. Hadn't spent much time in the mixer yet so this was very helpful in getting to grips with it, thank you
It' incredible how they have such an attention to detail on the workflow related functions like soloing, applying parameters to multiple tracks etc. Thanks for deep diving into this!
Good timing, I was just trying to figure this out myself earlier today when I discovered that “muting” the fx tracks “doesn’t work” (apparently because I was actually trig muting, not audio muting).
I have another challenge for you: if you have 4 bars and you create a trigger in the first one, how can you make the note be 3 bars long? I haven't found a way to make notes super long, like longer than one bar, unless I change the scaling and I do everything on it.
Depending on what else you need to do on that step, you might be able to accomplish this with a Hold step component. Those tutorials are coming very soon :)

Thank you! And I'm glad others knew the song :)

Great tips! Loving my XY. Justin Broadrick is the GOAT
Thank you! And YES--Justin Broadrick is probably my favorite musician ever.
Dang the mixer is deeper than I thought
