When he squeezed it between two more blocks of wood with tape (I thought it was rubber bands) I thought it was going to be the pressure pot as well. :)
Nice to see you back! BTW, I just got one of your picks - I'm finding new uses for it in my shop every day, and still haven't injured myself, but not from want of trying LOL.
There was a time years ago, when I was anxious to see other people in frame; fearful that the channel was changing. Now, I see the what a wonderful thing that is happening as a growing community of makers is developed because of it. Sorry to doubt you, man. Nice knife BTW.
Parabéns pelos seus trabalho, cresci vendo meu pai ser muti tarefas, fabricava moveis, facas telhados de casas e vejo em você esse dom , que se propõe em inovar sempre. PARABÉNS !
Odd to see a knife made from a sheet metal cut out....but that was awesome! The simplicity of pouring the resin into the bag with the wood is an amazing time saver. Well done fella! 😎
ANOTHER Great Video JD! Yup!...... I learned something new from this one as well! Thanks for doing what you do Brother! Much Love! ❤️ Have A Super Week!.....Gus
Jimmy walks into a bar and the bartender asks: - Did you make a knife recently? - Yes, but how did you know? - You've got a shaved patch on your forearm again.
My family and friends stopped asking if I had made or sharpened a knife after the day i went through my house and sharpened every knife i own......i had no hair on my arms when i finished
Hello, Jimmy my name's David, and as usual, your work and your mastery are awesome. By the way, i recovered the GSM of my wife. Thank you for everything.
Beautiful knife you created there Sir, any chance for a video or something telling about/showing your pressure curing of the epoxy method ? I have never seen that done before on a small scale like you did and it gives me lots of ideas. Have a great weekend.
To my taste, this is the coolest knife you made in a video. The way the handle hugs the metal is just perfect. The material you put around the wood, after sanding it wast just a very tin layer, right?
Can I suggest you try your hand at a slicer (like for briskets) - I would guess you could get a lot of buyers from bbq/smoker crowd - would be a cool project I think! Anyway - beautiful work there!
Hello Jimmy, greetings from Buenos Aires Argentina. I admire your talent, I spend whole nights watching your work in my spare time while I enjoy drinking some "mate" (Mate is a typical drink from this part of the world, which is drunk with yerba mate and hot water). Always wait to see if you dare to forge a katana, seeing how much you like knives and axes. I hope some day to see it, and if not, I will continue enjoying your work. Affectionate hug, Pablo Javier.
I love to build this kind of knife really great. Thanks for pointing. PS: I know that's definitely going to sound opener, but not one Protective mask against Epox and dust takes revenge any time. Take better care of yourself. Sorry
Hello Jimmy, looking at how much super glue soaked into the wood, do you think the resin vacuum bag process was necessary?? I like the colour of the resin was surprised how little was left at the end.
I can't watch it! There's too many ppl trying to watch at once, it plays 1/10th second and buffers. I have full service, Jimmy you've become too powerful!
Mr.D, it’s certainly a pleasure for me, to watch your craftsmanship. I’m 64 and still learning. Have a great day.
I’ve watched so many makers carefully make a mold box for their resin projects and here you make it so simple with a ziplock bag. Lol
When he squeezed it between two more blocks of wood with tape (I thought it was rubber bands) I thought it was going to be the pressure pot as well. :)
Thanos must kill TH-cam "DIY"resoursewasters --- for saving entire Universe.
Kidding just. ;-))))
They are DIYers. Jimmy is the Master!!
The drop and drag at 3:50 cracks me up probably more than it should!
Nathan Johansen sure sign this probably isn’t your first DiResta video. Replace Jimmy’s hand with Spike’s fake paws... voila. Classic DiResta.

Looks awesome. Really loving the look of the handle where it meets the blade.
I was just thinking this afternoon that a Diresta video would be nice to see today. Thanks for sharing.
Ok Jimmy now you're just showing off. Had me worried in the beginning but pulled it off in the end. Great stuff.
This is a beautiful knife! Probably one of my favorites you've made. The CA glue finish is nice.
There was a time years ago, when I was anxious to see other people in frame; fearful that the channel was changing. Now, I see the what a wonderful thing that is happening as a growing community of makers is developed because of it. Sorry to doubt you, man.

Джимми как всегда молодец! 👍
I told myself I wasn’t going to watch another knife making video, getting sick of them, before I knew what was happening, I watched the whole thing.
