  • In this video I installed LED turn signals. This is not the first time I installed them on this bike but it is the first time I installed 3 wire turn signals with the intention of adding running or to make my bike extra visible when braking.
    Fine below parts you could use when installing LEDs on your bike.

    I like them Richard...nice and bright...I went with sequential signals. I also went with a strobe brake light....4 very fast flashes then 4 a little quick flashes and then constant on after that, now I dont have to pump my brakes the get peoples attention when braking, sometimes you don't have time to pump them, this way the module does it for so you can get on the brake as hard as you need. Ive had a lot of people comment on how good they see them and how it draws there attention.

      That's a great idea. I had an integrated tail light on my FZ-09 that blinked like that. Hmmm I might be installing one again.
      Thanks for the comment.

    Thank You for showing us how to install LED turned signal lights. I totally like how you did on your bike. I'm totally doing it the same way as you did on yours. I hope I do it correctly without burning any wires. You are a genius on motorcycles. I wished you were my mechanic go to person. Keep on doing a fantastic job buddy. I'm always trying to learn anything when it comes to the Suzuki Gsx s 1000 because I have one too. The stock turned signal on my bike looks not as cool as the LED..
    Animoooo....

      Hey Ranger, thank you sir. I don't think I deserve this comment but I appreciate your thoughts. I have so much to learn...honestly I was driven by the "need" of learning to make stuff happen because money was tight and I couldn't afford to have my bikes repaired. The need turned into a passion and that's when I realized that there is a lot of people out there going through the same thing I went through. You either watch a video that is hopefully helpful and detailed so you can try it at home or you join an internet forum where everyone just complain and critique everyone else. I wanted to make a change and even if I am helping 1 person that is enough for me.
      Thank you again.

    Love it Richard. I did something very similar on my tail section! :) I could not tell if you had already color matched your rearsets or not? That is the next thing on my to do list!

      That's cool Kyle. Little touches. Yeah I powder coated mine myself a few years ago. I might get a set at some point because I'd like to gack to GP shift and the way the setup is right now I can't do GP shift with the Dynojet quickshifter with the OEM rearsets because the sensor gets pinched between the frame and the rod.

    Hi Richard,do you use an relais for led lights between the original cables and the cables coming from the signal indicators? Btw,great video.

    • @ToModorNottoMod
      @ToModorNottoMod  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Rino, thanks for reaching out. Are tou referring to resistors to lower the flash rate?
      I did not use resistors or relays, they are connected straight to the harness. So the only relay is the relay used for the oem signals.

    • @juventus4214
      @juventus4214 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ToModorNottoMod Thanks for the response. I did connected them straight to the harness,but they flashed real quickly and only 3 leds worked. So i did some research and indeed,i had to change the original 7 pin relay to an 7 pin LED relay and the magic came to life 😄Now all is working properly. Thanks anyway. Keep up the good work.

    My front blinkers only have two wires but I want to install daytime running lights that second as blinkers... So the lights I ordered have 3 wires... Do I need to wire a line to my fuse box? Or is there something I can buy?

    • @ToModorNottoMod
      @ToModorNottoMod  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Kristopher, if you have 3 wires one will be your running light and the other 2 the traditional positive and negative.
      For the front and with the help of a tester you will need to find a constant 12v that comes on when you put your ignition in the on position. If your bike is a GSX-S1000 there is a cable behind the headlight (i showed it in the video) that you can use for both front blinkers.
      If it's in the rear you can tap/interfere the constant rear tailight to get your power to the running lights in the rear. You can cut/splice etcetera but you can also find twist on connections that will make it super easy without having to cut your cables.
      Email me or comment through here if you have more questions.
