Here is a little mini-bar refrigerator that I picked up saving it from the landfill. Follow along as I attempt a rehabilitation. I hope you like the video.
Great restoration! The metal front looks slick and really modernizes the look. Those old appliances are like tanks and work so much better than the junk they sell these days! I bet it lasts another 40 years now.
Awesome video and project Mr. Bill. You did a great job on the sheet metal, the door rebuild and the clean up. Story of my life; "don't need it and no where to put it". Keep these great videos coming!
You knocked that one out of the park Bill. It is a very cool item. Get it Cool. Awesome job hopefully it will be around for a while. I have thought about getting a small one for my shop. Have a good week.
Outstanding work mate. Out here in Australia those things are a necessity, especially in the workshop where summer temperatures can hit 65-70 C inside the workshop.
Excellent Restoration Mr. Bill! I don't think I've seen something like this on TH-cam before. Very Cool! Don't need it and no place to put it? That's no reason not to keep it.😅. My wife puts that water stuff in my beer fridge sometimes..
Thanks George! It's already found a new home with my sister's granddaughter! I used to have a beer fridge in the garage but alas no longer. I just like to do random stuff like this that I have never done before - that's half the fun for me - working with tools and learning things. I'm still learning even at my age!
Ever since Scoutcrafter mentioned you in one of his vids, i have been a silent viewer.... You are very good at these restorations... I am glad, i am subscriber of your channel. 👍👍👍😎🙏🙏
Thank you so much Big Jim! Sure glad you are a subscriber now and I will try not to let you down. Like I said in my channel description this is just random stuff that interests me so you never know what kind of foolishness I will get into next. 😁Best regards, Bill
Those older units are much better than the ne ones IMO. For the most part, newer appliances are disposable and overpriced. They also don't last as long. I'd say it was worth the repairs and upgrades you did. Looks good too! Nice job!
Thanks Frank - good to hear from you again! Well, it looks better than it did, that's for sure! I like the bare metal front with white trim. Appreciate the comment, Bill.
Excellent save! Higher quality than the typical small refrigerators seen today. 😃👍
Thank you John! Yes, I could tell when I was working on this thing that it was made to last and not just thrown away. Appreciate you being here, Bill.

Thanks Melinda! They don't make them like they used to that's for sure! Thanks for the comment!

Thanks David! It was too cool to go to the landfill. Now it has a good home with one of my nieces who really wanted it. Thanks for the comment, Bill.
Forget the bread knife, when Mrs. R finds out you used her toothbrush to clean the electric cord your TH-cam career is over. Nice show.
HaHa! Thanks beerdrinker! Yes, that could have negative repercussions ! 😁
That's what's known as a college fridge. When you go to college you learn what you're supposed to put in them. Apparently you have forgotten. 😂😊😎😎
No I didn't forget! We sure had some good times back then didn't we ! 😁
Very nice Mr Bill. The old fridge looks great. I like the bare metal door.
Thanks Ivan! I thought about painting it but I like the bare metal look better as well. Best regards, Bill.
Nice job, turned out very well.
Thank you Fred. It has already gone to it's new home. Another one saved from the landfill! Best to you, Bill.

Thanks Dale! It was a fun project but took more work than I had anticipated. Seems to work well and has a new home now. You have a good week also!

Thank you ShedMan! I sure appreciate your comment from 'Down Under' ! Come back often, best regards, Bill.

That ice maker is HUUUUUUUUUUGE!!!
And DUDEZILLA! We had the same type of fridge when I was in college...... You would be amazed how much cheap beer those things hold!!!
I would not be amazed at all Andy - I was in college in the '60's ! 😁Bottled water is more my speed now !
Cheap beer and a bag of chips on top and it sells itself!!
@@blackbearhiker1420 That's for sure hiker! Thanks for watching and for the comment, Bill.

Thanks Mike. It seems to be a pretty nice unit, especially after firing right up after 40 years or so! Glad to hear from you, Bill.

The Magic 8 Ball knows everytime!! Awesome restoration
Thanks Mark! The Magic 8 Ball is fun! However I am a benevolent dictator and don't always follow it's advice! 😁
Nice restoration Bill, that looks brand new. 👍
