You don't need to split your attention. Build a team of VAs, each one specializing in one aspect of contacting people. In other words, one VA does calls, while others do cold email and LinkedIn connections. One can scale with teams. That's what we do successfully.
Three Key Takeaways: This was a very great and informational video for beginners. So far, it's the most helpful video I've watched in this playlist of videos! 1) A lot of the time, new B/Ds and S/Ds will struggle with step 1 (creating a sales strategy and ICP) and step 5 (qualifying the prospect). As a newbie, keep this in mind so that you can anticipate any issues before they arise. Always keep your ICP updated for accuracy, and switch up your qualifying sales script if you notice things not working for you, 2) Find at least 20 companies and the decision makers in those companies when creating your list of prospects. If only 5 out of the 20 reach back out to you, that's still a 25% success rate, which isn't bad for a beginner, 3) When actually reaching out, stick with whatever is working (cold emails, cold LinkedIn, cold calling) and drop the rest. Also, only focus on setting up a meeting. Selling only happens AFTER the prospect has been vetted as a good prospect for your product/service
Excellent points in this video. I especially like that you make the point that you're not making the final pitch in the lead gen process. And also that you are using the first call to qualify the lead. As a lead generation professional, I find this is a misunderstood point for some people; you're getting on the phone with a pre-qualified lead and your goal is to disqualify or turn them SQL on the call. This is an important distinction because if you don't know where you are on the journey, you will not likely successfully drive the interaction.
Just new to your channel and absolutely went through all the videos !! It's the best sales chanel on the TH-cam by far ! I have an interview this coming monday for Business development representative and I'm so lucky to have found your channel so I can nail the interview and hopefully the job ! Thank you so much for your content Patrick
Hi Patrick, thank for your effort putting up these videos. I definitely want to purchase your Master Class as soon as I raise some money. I believe that learning to excel on sales is not just an economic endeavor but a self-discovery one, to face your own fears and insecurities to become the best version of yourself. I wish I could work with such an inspiring person like you. Thanks
Contact the right decision-maker! Cold call and target the right decision-maker, no matter the industry. Getting past the gatekeeper is often a huge part of this process. Knowing your numbers is also imperative. In other words, how many calls does it take to get in the door (1st meeting)? If you do NOT know this, its like calling companies with a blindfold. Great video!
Hey Patrick, Big fan here! Your videos have immensely improved my understanding of sales. I'm facing challenges in understanding how to conduct proper research to identify my ideal client and know all the details about them from their website or other sources. Moreover, I'm unsure how to analyze a company's website to gather relevant info, identify our competitors, and understand their successful strategies-whether it's cold email, cold calling , or LinkedIn that is working best for them. Are there tools or specific website areas I should focus on? If you could make a detailed video on this topic, it would be a huge help.
The challenge I face when prospecting is in building list. I work in certificate of occupancy consultancy business. The need arises when a building needs to be issued occupancy certificate every 5 years. I find it difficult to identify this need. Currently I rely on network of my friends to find the correct person in their company. Doing this way, I can't make 20 prospects a day, as you suggested.
Dear Patrick your webinar was very insightful and illuminating I would absoultely buy but i physically can't afford it s much as i want to buy. However your videos are a great resource, thanks again keep them coming!
Useful video Patrick! Thank you! I would like to ask this: If I choose to go all in the cold email route what about follow up? Do you suggest cold emails or phone calls?
For sure you need up follow up with email. But I would also add in cold calling if you’re going g for specific accounts or if that industry is particularly receptive to cold calling
@@patrickdang ok cool thank you! That's what frustrates me! When should I add other outbound strategies and how to manage time? Because I want to start with cold email and then add cold calls or LinkedIn. Also should I start small with cold email (20-30 emails daily) and after optimizing to scale it to 50-60 ?
Hello Patrick, how're you doing? Have you made any training videos on CRM or Salesforce skills for Sales? I wanted to get into Inside Sales but can't figure out what I need to learn in Salesforce as it's so vast! Can you please help me in narrowing down topics I need to learn in Salesforce software before giving interview for Inside Sales position? I'll really appreciate your response.

That's right Jenny, knowing who's on the other side of the call will help you guide the direction of the conversation. Thanks for watching.

I would only suggest this process for high ticket clients and not just any client considering the time associated with this!
Much appreciated. Thank you Patrick!
Thank you for this video Patrick! It’s extremely helpful to hyper focus on one particular company that does something similar that fit in the ICP
