Oh you're one of those guys that wanted to be spoon fed all the time, unfortunately though this channel is not for you. This channel is all about giving necessary info on how stuff on the game works, if possible i give away stats as well to help viewers decide on their own as everyone has their own build and play style. I believe If I give a solid number on this topic, that will be a misinformation (as mentioned on the video). If the topic is not too subjective I give away recommendations as well on some of my videos. Thanks for your time watching and commenting.

They need to take this out of the game for online modes, there should be no assisting at all for a skill based game. ESPECIALLY for defense.
I get where you’re coming from but i just feel like it should be like a limit.. i kinda look at it like aim assist in cod (you still have to do most of the work)
Well if the latency of the game wasn’t complete garbage, people probably would turn this off. Dribble moves are a lot faster than a player on defense can move.

In summary, he recommended trying out different settings in your own tests because his tests didn't give clear results. So, it's tough to tell if defensive assist is actually working. Here's the bottom line: if you feel like your car is sliding too much, turn it off; if not, leave it on. You get to decide how much to use it, but anywhere from 0 to 100 is pretty much the same.

Hey @Sachethe55YT, the whole video was basically saying that defensive assist gives the same animations from 0-100. So, it might just be a placebo effect you're noticing. Try changing your style to something like LeBron James and set it to 0. Let us know if your analysis matches up with the guy who does this for a living, or if maybe it's actually based on defensive stats like perimeter defense 99 vs 0 because he used Klay Thompson who is a defensive beast.

I avg 4 steals a game and am a obl with an 88w%. Anything above 20 assists is HORRIBLE.

Ok but how would 0 apply, and 100 apply to someone's preference for playing defense as you mentioned? that's the real question, you mention that having it low as possible reduces sliding but what are the advantages then for someone who might want to have it on higher?

If you play on Xbox and have an elite controller I have some binds set to help with sliding on defense

It's pretty simple don't reach. Keep bumping them until there's no stamina. Then you're likely gonna get bump steals .

@@4432Highlights stay in front of wherever they're going and hold/tap L2/LT whenever they try to blow by you will get bumps at time. Also if you're pushing them to help defense so they're running into multiple people the chance of bump steals goes up too. Otherwise keep your hands up with the stick so if you force a pick up and the try to pass out there's a good chance a tip passes and steals that way. The only time you should really is X/Box to steal is if you're going for a lane steal or if you have made them use some stamina and they're about to basically put the ball in your lap. Those are pretty obvious for folks how play the game alot. You still won't get the ball all the time thanks to magnetic forces in game that glitch the ball back to the ball handler but it's better than everyone just running up hitting box/X and always ripping people.
@@4432Highlightsa bump is when they run into you, just gotta work on your timing and try to predict their movement, alot of the time its a byline run or a stepback three point shot
@@onlybetasgetoffendedbystri8030 baseline not happening like that this year you will bump them out of bounds. The step < is there sometimes as they'll get a push off but if you can still get a good jump contest most of the time they'll miss.

Put def. and boxout to 0 and put pass target dir. dis. and open. to 33 each. You'll thank me for it later.

@@fearlessknine3510 There's trick to it. Believe me, I've been doing it for years. Many don't know about it.
Put the middle bar all the way to max and the top and bottom bar will become 0. Then when you just reduce the middle bar to around 34, you have to keep going back and fourth until it's 1 point different which in terms makes them all 33. Believe me it works and it makes a difference when passing. Known this for many years.
@unknown183, I can have two settings at 33 or two settings at 34, but not all three at 33. Maybe you're on current gen? That's the only thing I can think of.

it's at the end. When tweaking it, try to put large increments ( im talking about 50-25 points). Don't try with like 5 point increments because trust me you won't feel that. It will just give you false info.

@@_YoungB we call people comp, but we don't consider that part of the community are all using the same broken animations and play the exact same way. They rely on broken mechanics to exploit gameplay. Show me a "comp" player that's going to have the same success with all normal styles equipped and a jump shot base other than Mills and McGrady
