Became an elite defender for 3 years now, I can say this is one of the best videos I’ve seen on defense. Positioning and knowing the patterns of who you’re guarding is key !! Everyone seems to go right , overly play the paint, and help on every play. Good film 👍🏾
My lock is like the first one you showed but less rebound and is a hybrid lockdown defender. I have 60 d reb but vert and timing make up for it a lot

I got a badge question… so my first build had sliver clamps with no strength and I was getting blown by i have another build with silver clamps but hof immovable do those stack well together if I just wanna stay in front of my man and get bumpy or do I need more perimeter d? Both are pg’s
I would say with regards to blow by stuff immovable is the best. I have it on gold on my new lock and it is my favorite defensive badge in the game cuz it helps you stand people up. So HOF immovable will do you a lot of justice. Silver clamps should be good enough to get the job done.

The best ones to my knowledge are Eubanks, Rodman, and Kawhi
So what are the defensive settings do you use.
I prefer no arrow but that is your preference, I use low defensive assist anywhere from 10-20, and I max out box out assist strength to help you get animations.
What’s the best Takeover to pick??
Either sharp or lock. But play is good for the 5s if ur a pass first guard. But other than that, besides sharp/lock I would never pop anything else on a lockdown.
Do you have a zen to stop zens?

Is 74 interior good enough? I’m remaking my lock build and I have it at 82 but I think it’s over kill
I think 74 is enough. 82 on a lock in my opinion is def overkill

I use Dennis Rodman, but Kawhi is also another good one from what I hear.
Lt will ruin you . I only hold LT when I’m in the paint or if I’m lock close to my defender

45 is all you need! Best standing dunk animations only require 40 and 45.
How important is wingspan for a lock ?
Very important!!!

@@mafiawade2062 you see how well I shoot with a 79 3 ball. It’s important for defense and if you wanna be a lockdown, defense is ur primary job!

i made a lock build gets 99 steal 87 middy 79 3pt 94 perimeter 87 block and 95 strength it get a 70 sum standing dunk 80 speed 60 pass I could have gotten it higher but 60 gets the job done and like a 72 accel and a 70 rebound just fits my play style height 6'7 max weight and wingspan I can not stress this enough this is my play style and wat I like oh also 80 vert
