Unironically this. I've seen so many ritual herbs being sold at a good price at my local grocery. Although they're usually dried up and not always 'fresh' -although, I've seen some in these plastic containers- you can find some excellent regents that way. I like your suggestion about tea, that's very resourceful! However, I'd also like to make an aside that if you're financially able to support your local witchy stores, you should do so.

I remember when my mom received one. I can’t remember what year it was but it was definitely before 1984. Could have been late 70’s. I remember being shocked when my mom followed through with sending them out. I think it was 7 people she was to send it to. I can remember her talking to my dad about it. He said not to worry about it but if it made her feel better to go ahead and do it. I don’t think he believed it at all but he understood how much anxiety my mom had about everything. If anything at all bad happened she would attribute it to the chain letter.

My life has been blessed with an overwhelming barrage of challenges so I get constant daily practice at focusing on how grateful I am for those things, events and people that are also in my life that bring beauty and happiness. Three colleagues of mine and me were the object of a girl’s wrath at being sacked from work and I swear to you, the day after we were told she had used a board to do it to us, the very next day all hell broke loose, it was unbelievable, car accidents, illness, marriages including my own 9 year relationship which was very happy went to shit in two weeks, I still speak to the women, this was middle 90s and we still say that from that moment all our lives have never been the same, I wish it was bull i really do

I go to the grocery store and bodegas (Spanish supermarkets) they even sell saint candles and basic pillar candles if your lucky.

I go to my local Indian market store to buy herbs, it is much less expensive than buying them elsewhere
