My friend used to tape plastic over it and spray ammonia in the bag seal the top and in a 20 min the grad is would fall right off . He owned a sign shop .
This is great reference. I'd like an opinion: I have a '92 Grady White that we recently have been restoring. We managed to get the old decals off with the rubber wheel bit - but as you spoke about: the weathering clearly showed a raised area. I have a DeWalt rotary sander - do you think it would be all right to use in place of the orbital with the appropriate grit?
@@topdockpro Thank you for taking the time to reply - much appreciated! Have been debating if the rotary would be a hazard for sanding/buffing since I didn't have any experience & didn't want to ruin the gelcoat. Big thanks!
I hear that I just got my first 3401 three days ago but haven’t had an opportunity to use it yet. Every boat I’ve gotten to in the past three days has just needed a wax. I guess that’s good news though. I just find that the rupes does not cut nearly enough stalls so much
Very helpful!! Awesome job man!!

Very cool!
Beautiful work brother! I can’t wait on my Starke products to get delivered so I can get started on my own boat. ✌️
Exciting! Let me know how it turns out!
@@topdockpro trying to keep the ole lady from watching the bank account is probably harder than doing the deal bro! Lol 😂

Yes of course. Just make sure you have an interface foam pad and the necessary sanding grits

Why the mark three over the 3401
Much easier to use! I’m getting rid of my 3401 VRG

Why don’t you use a decal eraser wheel on a drill?
Don’t have one to be honest
