Nice recovery by Lin Yun-Ju after the lost to FZD. This wins against the great Ma Long shows his maturation and is the best finish (Bronze medal) by a player from Taiwan at the World Cup. Congrats to LYJ!

第七局裡，在相持球中，林昀儒以6：3佔優勢，而最後兩球的暴擰，加上最後一球的擦網幸運球，讓馬龍完全沒反撲的機會。
在中國主場的世界杯，打到第七局，那是壓力多大的場面，99%的選手，大概手早已經軟了。
但18歲林昀儒的心理素質，竟然比金滿貫選手，馬龍還強，這已經不是用後天訓練練多久，或拿多少冠軍，就可以培養出來的抗壓力道。

This is an epic match. Love Ma Long but Lin Yun-Ju just stole the show.
Lin played very well. He and Tomokazu will have a very bright future. But I still believe when Ma Long fits , he will be unbeatable.

Man.. harimioto is one of the most respectful players in the game. Ever. He has never shouted on a net ball or edge ball. Never thrown his bat in anger. Even Wang Chuqin was banned for disrespectful behaviour. No doubt Harimioto is the opposite of Lin Yun.. but in terms of respect, Harimioto is on top

That was tough to watch, but Lin certainly has the tenacity here to finally win big against Ma. Its weird to watch the next generation beat the 'aging' great Ma, though. Timo Boll proves that 'aging' stuff can be overcome doesn't he! Timo almost beat Fan recently losing only by 2 in 7th game.

Joseph Gospa That’s what everyone was saying when he got injured in 2018, and then he came back earlier this year and won a couple of Opens before dominating the WTTC and winning it for the third time in a row. He’s clearly injured, so there’s no way I would count him out just yet. We’ll see if he’s lost a step after he recovers.

i think that lin yun-ju has the potential to go down has the greatest player of all time even above ma long, i mean he is only 18 in this match he still has a very long very potential filled career ahead of him.

Ma Long is arguably (imo is) the greatest TT player of all time, but it is a game that heavily relies on speed, reaction, and precision. All things that gets hit hard by age and injuries. Ma Long's run at the top is unfortunately coming to an end. It'll be fun to see which young up and comer will be able to distance themselves from the pack and carry the torch now.
