- SEASON 2, EPISODE 7
14 weeks and counting!
We have plenty to do, and the clock is ticking here at DocWob HQ. We have eight bike builds on the go for VMXdN Foxhill, all to be completed before the August bank holiday weekend...head down, as there is still plenty of fluffing and buffing to do!
We have-
Two 2001 pro circuit KX 250's for Mike Brown
2002 YOT YZ 250 for Ryan Villopoto
1996 factory Suzuki RM 250 for Leon Capps
Two 2001 Chevy Trucks KX 250's for Tommy Searle
2003 Geico CR 250 for Mike LaRocco to ride during the parade lap.
And a 2002 YOT YZ 250 for Zach Osborne, who will carry the oh-so- heavy number 1 plate after being on the victorious team at last year's event. Osborne will be part of the three-man team, alongside Mike Brown and Ryan Villopoto, (running their national numbers 3 and 2) who are returning to defend their title from the 2022 event.
That's eight builds on the go, and that's not to mention the spare bikes, too - ffs! We are ambitious, to say the least!
We give you exclusive access as we prepare to assemble the builds, starting with Zach Osbornes YZ 250. She is almost ready to go back together, and we run you through all the prep work and some of the modifications before we do.
There is plenty to reveal, and I answer some of your questions from previous episodes, including: -
Why it's an RC and not a CR?
What's the name of the paint colour on the Yamahas?
Why and how do we modify the swinging arm and back brake lug, and brake carrier?
And why on the billet fork feet we have made, do we have the pinch bolts more spread apart?
The video on the 94 RC 250 Factory Honda is slightly delayed as we are waiting on the seat foam to arrive to finish her off, and hopefully, it will be finished for the next day's filming.
If you have any questions or if there is anything you would like to see, please let me know in the comments.
Thanks for all the support for the channel.
In loving memory of Simon Mitchell

I hate the saying built not bought, but these bikes are exactly that. Better than how they came out the factory, old bikes brought upto date 👌
That’s very humbling and thank you
As usual, all fine things to consider, in every aspect of a premium build out. I've seen you lavish vast amounts of treasure on these thurobreds and never waste a drop.
You guys are genuinely killing it in the factory rep field.
Plus the bonus of kicking them off the stand in the hands of Zack,Mike,Tommy, ken.
Just simply quality kit.
Cheers....again
Amazing comment! Thank you we really strive to find perfection (where we can)
Quality wobs bikes are awesome
Thanks bud!
Love these little videos
ZO is going to be pumped, old boy! Just spoke with him earlier today... See you in August!
Amazing! I know he is keeping up with the build
Very cool. At first glance it's impossible to understand how trick these bikes really are.
So many custom designed upgraded parts, CNC machined out of high grade aluminium billet then anodized, coated or polished up... Ultimately, to look like they belonged there all along!
Thank you that’s incredible to hear
great work
Docwob, the modern day Alan Clews. What a legend 👏
Haha cheers!
Another very interesting upload. Brilliant work.. 95 days and counting to foxhills 😊. Can't wait
Thank you! We are counting down as well 🙈
First class rob as always.
Thank you Dean!
That´s a proper build.
Congrats.
That’s what we do here!
I have a set of the wide fork lugs and the axle. Beautiful pieces
Thank you!!
Thank you for the great content!
Thank you for watching
nice one Doc. Keep them coming
Will do! Thanks for the support!
Great video Doc, nice to see how much work goes into these bikes you build for VMXdN... 👏👏
We love it really. I think.
Work of art Wob ❤
Keep them coming mate👍🏴
Art is love and we love them!
Great stuff, one thing I remember about the 2002 YZ is the head shake. Exciting to ride but definitely needs a steering damper :)
That’s why we popped one on 👍👍
I really miss the paddock mate… I think I should come out of retirement to mechanic for Zach, the dream team, it’s 15 years since he came over to the UK and did his first British championship races and first GP’s even getting our first GP Moto win in Ireland…
It’s Mikey Whitewick by the way…
What a legend man!!
Will you be running the michelin starcross 6 medium hards?
Why sm pro hubs and not Talon hubs? Aren't they helping you out!
Can the jumps be built up for the track your having in August
At fox hill if that one single jump was built higher like Mike brown said last year then that gap could be cleared onto that plat toe into that right hander
If a spider Leg Excavator was hired then the up hill jump could be made into huge doubles that only the Pros dare to jumps we need excitement
Will keep that in mind, cheers!
Fox Hill needs a irrigation system. Last year was terrible
As a machinist I'd love to see more of your machine shop and cad stuff. Is this all done in house or do you send it out?
Most is in house and will make sure we do some of that!
@@docwobtv my dream job. You or Dentons.
@@matoefly that’s another fine establishment indeed!
DOC, I'm confused , are these bikes for Foxhills race or Farliegh Castle ?
Hi mate, i dont suppose you know the code for the bentley blue powdercoat do you? Thanks lee
I do, but it has escaped my mind. Will find out
