Bad idea to watch this video before lunch...I'm starving now
I love Izumi for dinner appetizers when I'm on the ultimate dining plan. Just get a little bit of sushi as a snack or pre-dinner, or a warm bowl of ramen when the temperature change catches up to me. Or as second dinner just because!
Ate this restaurant almost every night! Perfect!!!! They're ramen bowl with pork broth is delicious!

We adore hibachi but my eye is on the sesame rolls! There’s no restaurants left here that serve them. I miss them SO MUCH!
You say that hibachi will book up so we should pre-book prior to cruise. We have unlimited dining and we CANNOT book until on the boat. I’m already frustrated!
Goin on the harmony in 10 days and al ready booked up a spot for dinner at izumi, now my biggest problem is that i dont even know what should i go for, everything looks stunning
Wished I liked sushi...the food looks lovely. Too bad the hot rocks aren't available everywhere :(
We sailed on Harmony of the Seas in September and we loved the DX sushi combo (nigiri) and Spicy Miso Ramen. The ramen is a huge sharable portion for 2 people and only $12. It was so good, we came back for another visit to Izumi for that and DX sushi combo alone.
We didn't like the izumi ryu futomaki signature roll at all, not a fan of cooked sushi. I would warn sushi fans that it's a warm/hot temperature roll. The hot temperature was a bit off-putting.
Do you know if they offer yum yum sauce at the hibachi?
I have not tried Izumi Yet. Planning to try on Oasis next april

Izumi is sometimes open for lunch as well, depends on the itinerary. But on sea days, it's usually open for lunch. The sushi side of Izumi is priced a la carte.
What is the price range? I think the ultimate pkg only covers 30 right? And can u only go once or can u go twice.. three times
When I went it was $35 per day per person
How can they call a Teppanyaki grill hibachi? I’m starting to think that real sushi can’t be found on a cruise ship. I’m seeing mostly Americanized rolls which I don’t care for. I wonder what the nigiri or sashimi selection consists of? How many different varieties of fish other that the same old fare?
If we got a 3 night dining package, can we use one of the nights here? Will we have to pay extra?

There's quite a few options, including steak and lobster
Is there any lo mien on tha menu?
Depending on the ship, there are sometimes noodle-based offerings.
Usually its ramen or udon noodles. Its more japanese cuisine than takeout chinese. You might have a shot at lo mein though at the Windjammer

I dunno. The sushi pieces look like the grocery store pre-pack sushi. Ok, the rolls are pretty do the pretty-roll people will enjoy but the actual fish - looks like what I can buy at any local grocery store. Oh well, RCCl makes a few bucks, people have a good time - everyone wins.

@@Theyarnbasket Yes. Good laughs, good food, non-Instagrammy-Tattoo-Dawg- music, parties are fun. I usually am good to make them laugh a few times - then I usually am in the corner with a friend or two. Last one wasn't a party - just had 3 ppl over. But the T-Bones I made were topped with salt, and Irish butter. Everybody slurped every bite.
Don’t judge it by the video. Try it and sure you will be surprised. Its not as good as Nobu but then again about 80% cheaper
@@MarkSibthorpe-yg8zu Fair point and I'm sure one day I will try it. Not looking for Nobu, just better than pre-packed grocery store. If it's as good as the average strip mall sushi I'd be very pleased.
