I loved Kevin’s insight in regards to Avian; what a unique perspective to not only harbor but share. As cliche as it is to say, life is finite. We need to make the best of it and observe the simple pleasures it offers. Mac Miller was an artist who took full advantage of his talents and created some amazing, impactful art as a result. Even if he passed long before he should have, the themes which can be heard in his music will long outlive our own finite existences. Great work as always guys, and I can’t wait to see what you listen to next.

What I love so much about Mac is how fun his lyrics were to listen to. His references to Chappelles show, the all around honesty and self awareness. He was such a fun guy who was so relatable. There is no other rapper that makes me laugh, cry and get hyped up all at the same time listening to an album. Wish he was still around. Great video as always gentleman. Cole’s “Born Sinner” shows the confidence he had in this art piece of an album Supposedly the birds in the background of the tracks were suppose to be a tribute to his dad

The night before Mac Miller's release party for the album they were struggling trying to find a video to go along with it. Mac's DJ Clockwork recommend him Turtle the Incredible Journey. After watching it their minds were blown by how well it synced up with the themes, the features, and the length of the album. If you've never watched it before I highly recommend you set some time aside because it really is a journey.

I have told this story over and over, but I wasn't a big mac fan in the beginning, but then I heard snippet of Objects in the mirror on his MTV show, and then I heard this album and I became a fan. I listen to objects in the mirror every single day. My favorite Mac song. It's sad it's such a beautiful song yet if you know it's true meaning, him comparing his drug addiction to the love for a women, he was aware of his drug problem even back then. The Star Room with that grindy instrumental really sounds like Amon Tobin produced it. Earl did an incredible job on that track by injecting that purified electronic emotion in there, really makes the song.
