Welcome to Skyrim, Liz! I would suggest you to switch to Third Person View mode so you can enjoy your character more. I just wonder what you would do as soon as you realize you can completely mod your game experience. Just don't forget mods helped this game to still be the great game it is today after over a decade... we can say mods and incredibly talented mods' makers "saved" Skyrim making its life last this long! If you're going to really dig deeper into the game you'll find out how much even better and satisfying can be, not only from the point of a refreshed New Gen closer aesthetics. I can tell you have no idea what kinda rabbit's hole you entered... 😄 PS: You missed some nice stuff during the escape... like food in the barrels and sack or even a couple of potions in the cave right before encountering the spiders and the bear later on. I really hope you enjoy this game. Every time you followed the guard's "invite" to keep moving I found myself saying "NOOOO... just keep on searching, first!". I love how she actually started reading the book of the dragonborn. I don't remember reading any book since the first time I've played skyrim and this girls is going to read every single one. Just be careful when you find the "lusty argonian maid"
It is refreshing to watch someone discover Skyrim only recently. You miss so many things that veteran could be screaming watching you but it is normal to not know everything the 1st time.
i once saw a streamer try to play and it actually got too frustrating as they never read the missions, just went in and did whatever of course they broke several quests
or the 2nd or 3rd or 4th time. It's so absurdly detailed and in depth that even the veterans are going to miss something. Maybe not that routine first run, but considering how vast that world is, you'd be a complete douche to criticize anyone for missing obvious stuff the first time they play.

I think you just hit the TH-cam algorithm as this was suggested to me without any relevance. It was really sweet to see someone get a fresh look at one of my favourite games. In 2011 I was in grade 11 and went to my first midnight release for Skyrim. I was with my best friend and we stayed up until sunrise playing. I remember thinking my mom was going to give us shit for staying up so late. Not sure why all that flooded back but thanks for bringing back some fond memories! This takes me back. The first time I played Skyrim I was 10 years old(currently 21) and I remember how excited I was because I was also an oblivion player at that point and the jump in graphics, the storyline, all of it was so exciting! I started playing Skyrim almost from when was first released and am still playing. I admit my game is heavily modded now with some 300 active mods. I am 73 years young and still play every day. Liz, I can assure you, you will not be able to stop either.
This is so fun! I've played this game off and on since it came out, this one and Oblivion were my favorite when they came out, and I'm happy to see people still discovering elder scrolls!
Mountain, I have been playing since it came out in 2011 (on xbox 360) and here I am now 11 years later playing still almost every day! (now on PC and mods, mods make the game look new and fresh!) In 2011, I was 16 my bother was 14 and we secretly opened up Skyrim early from Christmas present like two weeks early without my parents knowing. We played every day and before Christmas put it back and wrapped it up. They never found out. Skyrim is pretty much my favorite game of all time. 😬
I just eatched the first two (mountain) episodes. I'm hooked. I 100%'d this YEARS ago and I have platimum trophies on both PS3 and PS4. This is a way for me to enjoy Skyrim again through fresh eyes!! This is awesome!!! I'm soooooo happy I found this series!!!

with Skyrim its better if you take your time with everything, I love reading the books, checking the items, talking to people, etc. edit: don't let the characters push you to move, go your own pace, as they will wait for you always, even when they say "hurry" or "let's go!"
Wood Elf was my first character many years ago. Gamepad or mouse is ok playing vanilla without a UI mod. I prefer mouse and keyboard. Thanks for sharing your gameplay here.

I started playing Skyrim almost from when was first released and am still playing. I admit my game is heavily modded now with some 300 active mods. I am 73 years young and still play every day. Liz, I can assure you, you will not be able to stop either.

This is so fun! I've played this game off and on since it came out, this one and Oblivion were my favorite when they came out, and I'm happy to see people still discovering elder scrolls!

Mountain, I have been playing since it came out in 2011 (on xbox 360) and here I am now 11 years later playing still almost every day! (now on PC and mods, mods make the game look new and fresh!) So happy to see someone discovering Skyrim for the first time, brings back the memories! Looking forward to watch the next episodes!

The fact that this game still looks so good 11 almost 12 years later Is amazing, also i like how Liz doesn’t know anything about TES it has a sort of sweet innocence about it.

In 2011, I was 16 my bother was 14 and we secretly opened up Skyrim early from Christmas present like two weeks early without my parents knowing. We played every day and before Christmas put it back and wrapped it up. They never found out. Skyrim is pretty much my favorite game of all time. 😬

I just eatched the first two (mountain) episodes. I'm hooked. I 100%'d this YEARS ago and I have platimum trophies on both PS3 and PS4. This is a way for me to enjoy Skyrim again through fresh eyes!! This is awesome!!! I'm soooooo happy I found this series!!!

Can't wait for your second playthrough, when you start experimenting with the thousands of incredible mods fans have made for this game. They're the reason Skyrim remains so popular to this day.
with Skyrim its better if you take your time with everything, I love reading the books, checking the items, talking to people, etc. edit: don't let the characters push you to move, go your own pace, as they will wait for you always, even when they say "hurry" or "let's go!"

Wood Elf was my first character many years ago. Gamepad or mouse is ok playing vanilla without a UI mod. I prefer mouse and keyboard. Thanks for sharing your gameplay here.

Well, as an high experienced skyrim player, it was very fun too see someone beeing a toddler on this world. Just giving me good memories too my childhood when i was 12. I'm definetly going too watch all the other episodes and watch you grow :)
