Experienced Skyrim players are in physical pain watching her make very normal and intuitive mistakes but this is great. First introduction to you Kolo, you seem real nice! But not taking those mage robes and hood? Ooooh boy that hurt me. 1 pound for a few hundred gold each just gone. The sheer efficiency of that resale value left in a cage! XD But hey, don't bother with people who might make fun of you for stuff, play how you want. This is an "rpg" after all.
@@HelloItsKolo A good piece of advice on looting... take the weight of something (1 pound) multiple by 10. If the value is worth 10 or more you should loot. Especially at beginning with no perks/bonuses for selling. Thay 1 pound sword for 10 gold will be sold for 3 gold.
@@skorpikion or build one.. it's more useful if you use a survival mod though because that will add the need to actually go out and buy food.. though the amount the food costs is tiny compared to the amounts you can easily rack up

But misclick on a goblet or a piece of bread and suddenly the entire town guard is hunting you down like you're the most dastardly criminal they've ever seen!

The Senile Scribbles(I mean Elder Scrolls) said nothing of this chicanery. Seriously though, I think we’ve all made the mistake of finding out the difference between looting and stealing the hard way. At least helloitskolo didn’t accidentally kill anyone permanently with no saves to use from before(I think only the main quest line characters are kill/death proof. Everyone else can be killed off if you choose, locking off and/or failing any quests that needed them). Lesson for all new players, Always save often and with backups. I like a half dozen or so before I erase the oldest(actually I’m bad for having about 101 saves from every point of the game still by the end like a digital hoarder), so You have options to choose from if the most recent save has issues...such as a whole town wanting to kill you, or a named character killed that you don’t want dead still dead permanently. Whoops 🤷♂️😂

Hi. I'm watching your blind playthrough right now. As someone who knows most of the ins and outs of skyrim, it's interesting to see you playing through with no hints. I'm really enjoying it! Most of the hints I've seen people try to make are to "get the ball rolling." It's well intentioned, but a mistake. The whole purpose of this game is open world and choice. You don't have to commit to any quest or do anything you don't want to. I like the fact you are flower picking. I probably spend several hours just doing that on a new playthrough knowing what those ingredients are for. It will be interesting to see you figure out on your own how stuff like that works. I've liked and subscribed.

I just avoid the bleak falls Barrow quest and explore around. As I said, you don't have to commit to anything. This is the premise Morowind and Oblivion was based on. Free dnd.

Subscribed when I heard her read, that was just too epic to pass up, plus it is just awesome to watch someone who has not played it before. While I am sitting here, still remember every mission, every location, how to get every piece of armor and weapon and where it is located.. Damn I wish I could play it as a beginner again (Norwegian aka Nord here ✊)
The problem with skyrim is that the button that makes you talk to shopkeepers and friends is also the button that makes you take things that don't belong to you. Gets me into trouble more than I care to admit.
I literally never had issues like this even when I first started playing skyrim the day it came out. Idk why people are so hamfisted and accidentally activate everything around them like a toddler.
My longest play through took 4 and a half months, by then I had done 99% of the quests, and got my main level to 100. That was on adept,,,now I am playing on Master level, expecting this to go a few months as well..., hoping for legendary next☺️
I finished most of the game in 2 months not including dlcs. Did a few more quests I hadnt finished like 8 months later including the dlcs. Still a couple I've never finished.
I've been playing for 10 years and I still haven't finished the story line! LOL! I've had to restart several times, though. My gameplay is just that painstakingly slow.

Aww, that "Amulet of Arkay" quest was one of the easiest ones, located right there in the city. Meanwhile, the one to identify the unusual gem sends you first to Riften across the mountains, then to pretty much everywhere in the game.
Man seeing skyrim agains actually brings tears to my eyes, the excitement of everything, the stories, and everything rehyped by someones blind playthrough, brings me back to being a kid. THIS IS AMAZING
God, I remember the first time I really played this game. I'd do anything to feel the way I did in this opening scene. But watching you play really makes me feel like that again. It makes me happy, and feel like I'm doing it all over again. This is one of the greatest games in history, imo. Anyone who plays it is lucky to have the experience.
I came across this by accident. I've played Skyrim 3 times (3rd with Mods) Its so much fun watching you play this on a blind walkthrough. Brings back memories ahhh.... keep it up you're doing great and love the voice overs
I can't help, but adore this whole play-through. After beating it at 100% one the 360, getting it for the xbox1, and finally just saying 'f*** it' downloading mods. Seeing a genuine first encounter with Skyrim is amazing. I keep almost spitting out my drink when I see you 'stumbling' about the game. I think you have accidentally made most of the people in the game mad at you through some way or form. Also, totally agree with a comment you made. Alchemy can easily break this game with no mods at all.

I love Skyrim, it’s always been my all time favorite game. I never get tired of it because there is so much to do and of course with mods it just gets better.
If you’d like to stop getting off track, try to get the clairvoyance spell off of the mage that’s in the castle of whiterun. I understand if being off track is the point. I’d rather mention it than have you keep going off track by accident.

Well money is useless in the game except if you want to buy a house. The only things I loot is for disenchant

You don't have to commit to any quest or do anything you don't want to. I like the fact you are flower picking. I probably spend several hours just doing that on a new playthrough knowing what those ingredients are for. It will be interesting to see you figure out on your own how stuff like that works. @@HelloItsKolo thanks. I don't fight the dragons on a difficult playthrough when I don't want to deal with them. You can become a dragon whisperer btw! I just avoid the bleak falls Barrow quest and explore around. As I said, you don't have to commit to anything. This is the premise Morowind and Oblivion was based on. Free dnd.

The amount of times I say that to myself when I play Bethesda RPGs. I hate having quests sitting in my quest log that I will never do because of the character I'm playing! I wish you could "forget" quests.
When she started singing I actually stopped playing my own game and had to rewatch that. Jesus her singing sounded incredible.

Subscribed when I heard her read, that was just too epic to pass up, plus it is just awesome to watch someone who has not played it before. While I am sitting here, still remember every mission, every location, how to get every piece of armor and weapon and where it is located.. Damn I wish I could play it as a beginner again (Norwegian aka Nord here ✊)

The problem with skyrim is that the button that makes you talk to shopkeepers and friends is also the button that makes you take things that don't belong to you. Gets me into trouble more than I care to admit.

Well, a few weeks. The extra years is modding. :)
My longest play through took 4 and a half months, by then I had done 99% of the quests, and got my main level to 100. That was on adept,,,now I am playing on Master level, expecting this to go a few months as well..., hoping for legendary next☺️
I finished most of the game in 2 months not including dlcs. Did a few more quests I hadnt finished like 8 months later including the dlcs. Still a couple I've never finished.
I've been playing for 10 years and I still haven't finished the story line! LOL! I've had to restart several times, though. My gameplay is just that painstakingly slow.

Aww, that "Amulet of Arkay" quest was one of the easiest ones, located right there in the city. Meanwhile, the one to identify the unusual gem sends you first to Riften across the mountains, then to pretty much everywhere in the game.
This is low key what I wanna aspire to be as a twitch streamer. Sound effects, voices, good quality audio and commentary, it's all so awesome!!

God, I remember the first time I really played this game. I'd do anything to feel the way I did in this opening scene. But watching you play really makes me feel like that again. It makes me happy, and feel like I'm doing it all over again. This is one of the greatest games in history, imo. Anyone who plays it is lucky to have the experience.

I can't help, but adore this whole play-through. After beating it at 100% one the 360, getting it for the xbox1, and finally just saying 'f*** it' downloading mods. Seeing a genuine first encounter with Skyrim is amazing. I keep almost spitting out my drink when I see you 'stumbling' about the game. I think you have accidentally made most of the people in the game mad at you through some way or form. Also, totally agree with a comment you made. Alchemy can easily break this game with no mods at all.

This happens to be the first video I’ve seen of this channel, and let me tell you it is adorable! I still remember my first time playing Skyrim and running around looting everything and not understanding most of the controls! Mine was an Orc too. I imagined a warrior looking for the challenge that ends his life. Then I met the Orc in game that has the same motives and felt awkward.

When in Riverwood she asked if we're stressed too I wanted to say that yes, I'm damn stressed. Stressed that she wants to pickpocket everyone without saving the game first and that we'd have to watch the entire journey since the last autosave (which was after leaving Helgen) if she gets killed again :P

I love Skyrim, it’s always been my all time favorite game. I never get tired of it because there is so much to do and of course with mods it just gets better.
If you’d like to stop getting off track, try to get the clairvoyance spell off of the mage that’s in the castle of whiterun.
I understand if being off track is the point. I’d rather mention it than have you keep going off track by accident.
