Very impressive. I have a Sako chambered in 375. Not as a big a kick as a 458. But shot placement matters very much when you are hunting dangerous game. You better polish up on follow up shots. That bolt has to worked fast you only have a split second with a charging wounded buffalo for a follow up shot or you are dead.

Exactly. The fact is this is a CZ 550 chambered in .458 Lott. CZ makes bolt action safari/dangerous game rifles for those on a budget. When you get to calibers like .458 Lott, the engineering demands are higher. If you don't meet those higher standards, then you get jammed cartridge cases, failures to extract, etc. That's why a good, reliable dangerous game rifle costs at least a solid $3000 and usually are much more expensive. You get what you pay for.
