@@johnandrewserranogarcia7223 my point was that any revolver would have those issues save for a mosin nagant revovler which has the space between the cylinder and the barrel closed off when the hammer is cocked back given the design of the revolver, as everything is internal in a semi automatic pistol, on a revolver its external and open in that area around the cylinder the trade off with a revolver being that if the first shot doesnt work, you can pull the trigger again and generally they can take higher pressure ammo, or any ammo as long as its within spec without modification a semi auto you have to tap and rack, and then switch the springs or rework the feedramp to make it work reliably with whatever you've got, just ask anyone who's ever used a 10mm about that. its two different schools of philosophy over what is the preferable solution to a failure to fire, and how ammo sensitive something can be. it doesnt mean the colt's a piece of junk, although I'd be lying if I didnt say I was waiting until the Mark II comes out, if for no other reason than how ugly the grips are, the lack of a colt royal blue being on the table, along with a proper 4 inch or 2 inch option and the lack of ribbing on the top of the gun, and the ugly font they chose, plus it doesnt matter who made it, never buy the first of anything, high point included always wait 2 to 5 years for the bugs to be worked out, just ask anyone who's had the unfortunate circumstance of being a first time purchase of a ruger mark 4 semi auto. or even a corvette C8, both of which have had numerous recalls or service bulletins in their first year of production.
