We have a Kuhn 55 model. Trying to split the bed at the moment. Having a little trouble as we can't open it up entirely. It seems to be stuck or held in by something else. Any ideas on how we can open it up? Thanks very much.
Deirdre McAuliffe Once the gearbox is removed the only things holding the halves together are bolts around the perimeter and the bolts in the center that hold the drive gears in place. If all are removed, it should separate.
I think I was talking about trying to patch the rusted out spots in the mower bottom and it didn't work too good. That's why I ended up replacing the lower half of the case.

You said something about JB Weld. What were you talking about?
