We were on our way to cut hay when all of a sudden Chance heard a loud noise and the drag from the cutter shut down the tractor. So this is a video on what we found out so far.
did you ever put the mower back together again ? have the same happen mine today .......was told by 2 men that repair them that a 14 year old mower is not worth fixing ....... mine has no cracks in the bed but there is many gears broken ......
anyone have a cracked casing and repair it mine cracked on the end disc area broke on of the drive unit bolts which means case will have to be opened up didnt damage the gear before the unit started to wobble a dealer said they can be welded and got going again ?
You do realise they need oil in the bed,that one looked very dry
Filled with oil daily as needed had about 20,000 acres on it. We were using it commercially

No just moved on to much to repair.

I sold this as spare parts it was far to expensive to repair
@@pecancreekfarm2386 seems that these things have a limited life and then its just parts or scrap
