I keep thinking the same thing. The only appeal of the Springfield Armory clone is the made in USA label. Springfield will have to up their game to compete. I would pay more for a USA made pistol of the same quality over a Turkish one, but so far the Girsan seems to have the Springfield beat.

Wow, I went to college in Angola IN< (69-72) and those winters were COLD, not a lot of snow, but cold, and I grew up in Buffalo NY. This pistol seems to perform pretty well, I'm looking to the rest of the series of tests. Last year, your team upgraded my 1980's era HP and it's like a new gun. You guys do excellent work.
That's not to say that the function tests aren't important, just that we don't need to watch shooters fire every round. Malfunctions and their prognosis would be worth seeing, if and when the occur.
This is nearly on par with my Tisas BR9 in terms of trigger! And I’ve got an EGW hard sear, Browning sear spring, Garthwaite trigger, and a 24# hammer spring! This Girsan is impressive!
Quite impressive. Good out of the box, even better with a little love from you. I'm very curious about the sear polishing. How much, how was it done, how much of that two pounds in trigger weight was the sear polishing, etc.
Maybe just me, but I'd prefer to see rested groups fired from a factory barrel followed by shooting groups with the BHSS barrels. Looks like from where you're shooting it's about 15 yards, and that's fine for comparison.
It’s not just you. I would like to know if it seized up because they put their own barrel in it. The factory barrel had much more clearance with the bushing.
Thanks for making these videos. I tried to remove the mag disconnect by removing the pin on the trigger but the mag disconnect would not come out. Can you tell me how to remove the mag disconnect on the Girsan MC p35? Or do you have a video showing how it is done?
I've seen many of your videos and all your HP University videos. They were quite helpful and I learned a great deal. I've bought a number of upgrades for my '85 HP from you as well. May I suggest striving to better your email response. I've written three emails and have not received a response to any of them. One about purchasing I sent about 3 weeks ago and another, with a follow up two days ago, about an issue I am having with an upgrade I bought from you and seeking help. I've not been in a place where I could call at this time. You guys are great and I just wanted to make you aware of this. Otherwise keep up the good work and videos!

The Girsan is an updated Hipower....with actual working safeties.....they are too expensive now... will get one when they cone down....600 bucks for a single action is too much....considering all else outthere.
I don’t really understand. How, if you change out the barrel, can you say you are really testing the Girsan??? It’s a totally different gun at this point.
Please see previous sessions. The Girsan Barrel does not shoot to the point of aim. We've already determined that the Girsan MC P35 Barrel successfully cycles ammuntion and does not shoot to the point of aim at 15 yards. What else about the Girsan barrel would you like us to test and determine?
@@bhspringsolutionsllc555 ah sorry no, that is not what I’m saying. My thought process would be, why bother testing the girsan any longer if it is functionally useless in its stock configuration. People seem to be getting the idea that this is a good gun, when stock it can’t even hit point of aim. Y’all’s upgrades are working wonders and making it perform well, but that hardly seems due to the Girsan itself at all.
Personally, if the gun runs and does not malf, that is the big issue. It shot to the slightly to the left, with the oem barrel. But, data point of one. The sights are drift adjustable, just like my old Ruger P90. Run different rounds thru it, they will always all disagree to some point. As a self defense gun, which it is, will it a chest at 10 feet? Or less. Yes, apparently it will. I'd take it over the Springfield.

Those Lyman digital gauges are very for given try the old analog gauges or wheeler digital I have all of them and I get different reading
