Prayers for Tommy and his family
When I was a kid, my folk's ninety year old farm-advisor joked that he "liked to plant 'de-corn' not 'de-cob'" (dekalb). Too many years ago to remember if he actually planted dekalb or not although it was popular in our area,
I thought that truck was sharp in the daylight whew! Looks awesome at night! 🙏 Prayers for Tommy and his family.
sure wish we got those yields. we average 229. maybe if we planted a little heavier we could increase it some.
I’ll definitely keep Tommy and his dad in my prayers…I’d love to pick your brain about some of my farms, I’m new to it and I’m kind of picking up everyone’s scraps and I’d love to get them to yield good because I know the dirt hasn’t been taken care of…what’s your CEC where you farm?

Keep doing what your doing, subscribers will come, I grew up on a cotton, rice, wheat, and soybean farm in NE Arkansas, I still play in the dirt, I own a dirt moving company in Houston, Tx. I can’t imagine what it would have been like having tube back then,. I really enjoy the combines and tractors, we had 6600’s, then 7700’s and so on, had 2 row 9900 pickers. Keep up the good work. Continued prayers for Tommy and his family. I lost my dad in 2009, he was a 4th generation farmer.

300 bushel corn is phenomonal. i remember when grandad called 80 bushel corn a bin buster yield.
Corn is grass ... Imagine if all these suburban lawns were growing corn and putting money in the bin when they went out to 'mow'. Two hundred bushel corn on that one acre subdivision estate (subtracting for house and drive). Just gotta convince those HOAs.

I really enjoy your videos. Still praying for Tommy's Dad and his family. I know farmers that will rent ground and don't take care of it. They literally rape the soil the go somewhere else.
Is there a DeKalb variety that you have had the best luck with?
6744 has been a good one but it’s playing out now. There is another one that I had this season that’s a race horse!!
