  • Corn Silage Harvest - We're continuing on with our silage harvest in this video. We received 2" of rain which has delayed harvest for a few days while we wait for the fields to dry out.

    You sure have to have a lot of feed to feed all your cattle for winter and early spring.

    19 was hell. We had heavy rain every third day it seemed like all of august and September. It was October before we started wheat harvest. We skipped 3rd cutting all together and finished beans 20 mins before getting snow. Ended up combining all our corn in the snow. Id be ok with never going threw that again.

      Yield has been around 18 to 20 ton per acre, we're shooting for 30 to 35% dry matter.
