I was very eager to restore the ax because the tip was like a knife and the back edges were sharp and the front of the ax was really weird.
First I removed the deposits and rust from the ax to begin the restoration and then I cleaned it with a wire brush and did my best to restore the ax to the best possible shape.

Good job on the improvised Halbers. T axe head is generally corect but the part that looks like a blade/.knife is not. They end with a spike.

La verdad un arma muy rara, ahora quisiera saber que elementos usan para cubrir el arma que parezca oxidado, porque por época que se pretende representar el hierro no esta corroído al momento de ser quitado la placa de supuesto óxido, éste sale sin ningun esfuerzo dejando al desnudo el metal completamente intacto, muy buen trabajo 😅

Looks like someone welded a batarang to a knife and said it's an ax. Not old and if I had to guess its been made in the last year or so. The just used things they had on hand to make it look like it was old.
