Today I talk with the inventor of the Murphy pyramid sight and I try it out for myself. Check out Murphys Facebook page for a chance to win one of your own. www.facebook.c... www.MurphyPyramidSight.com
This is a great concept, but how does it work for different distances? I have five pins on my site ranging from 20 yards out to 60 yards. How would you do that with one triangle?
Thanks for watching, the current model is a single distance sight. Murphs son and Grandson are both shooting models that are mounted to moveable brackets. This has certainly been the most frequently asked question so my guess is you see some type of option in the future. for hunting our area of south Alabama 90+% of shots are less than 20 yards. My hunting sight has a pin set at 25 yards it shots a couple inches high at 15 and a couple inches low at 30 so a single distance works pretty well for me. ( I target shoot a long distances but really like my deer close LOL )
How does this sight work from 20 to say 40 yards? Does the aiming and POI from arrow the same? Thank you. This is quiet an interesting sight. Thanks for sharing sir.

Thanks for watching , I appreciate the input. I’m always looking to improve my videos. The sight in its current design is really for one distance but I did fine that with the sight set at 20!yards I could use the bottom of the triangle at 35 yards so it really works pretty easy as a 2 pin sight.
Thanks for watching, I have an astigmatism as well that causes me to see double pins in most lighting conditions. I guess it would depend on the severity of your astigmatism. I didn’t really think about it until I seen your question but it was nice to not see double pins for a change.

Thanks for watching. Murph is from south Alabama where 90% of his shots are less than 20 yards so originally he designed it with that in mind. With that said he does realize the need for adjustability. Both, his son and grandson are shooting moveable sight versions. Just my opinion but just like with any new business , I’m sure you’ll see growth and improvements as time goes on. Thanks again for watching and taking time to comment.

Great invention. Us old guys still have it. I think this would help me with my dominant eye being blind now.
This sight has really grabbed my attention and I’m heading to your website now!!

That concept kinda makes sense. I'd like to try it out!
I think I might have to try this.

Absolutely love mine! Gonna take it back to Canada for another black bear next spring!
I’m famous for wanting to peek, this is a great idea.
I’m interested but I need more. Website says $169.00?
@@jeffreyarcher5030 thanks for watching, call the phone number on the website to reach Murph and get the promo price
I would like to have the green sight if I win it or buy it.
Great video!
Is it accurate at distance?
Would be helpful if more was given on how to use this sight. Is this sight only good for 1 distance? Are there different aiming points for distances?

@@archeryuniverse Thanks.
What type material is the Murphy Pyramid built from?
Thanks for watching. The pyramid portion is 3D printed. I’m not sure which material is used in the process but I’m sure they can answer that for you.
So how do you adjust for farther shots?

Like to see how it compares to my e-z p
Thanks for watching make sure you enter to win. Id be interested to hear how they compare.
Need to explain how
It works and how you can shoot different distances with it for a 100 bucks it’s not worth
Useless if it's not adjustable for longer yardage
