I'm a rifle guy but am certainly enjoying the archery trade. I enjoy various instructional videos and have watched numerous guys. Seem to keep going back to your channel. Great stuff. Class act on the info for improving skills and equipment reviews. I really appreciate how, unlike on some others channels, you keep things clean and no cursing. Great job and keep up the great work. same exact outcome when I picked up my ambush green TRX 34 custom ... bullet hole first shot I almost fainted ... had to wait 3 months to get it but it shoots unreal ... way easier to shoot than my VXR 28 for my archery skill level ... absolute tack drvier ... definitely hunting with it this season ... sold the VXR
I wish someone would make a detailed video of TRX 34 vrs V3X 33. Cost is $550 greater for TRX, but it’s hard to understand the differences.
I agree, I wish someone from Mathew’s could explain it. An inch more riser and different cams doesn’t explain the cost difference.

I used my Trx 34 last season for hunting and it had become my favorite hunting rig

Great video. I look forward to see if you have videos where you explain what steps you go through when you set up a bow. I saw a few things in this video I would be interested to know more about. I had forgot about 3rd axis, but I guess that is mostly for 3D / hunting, if you are going to shoot up- or downwards. For normal target shooting you probably don't need it?

So Chris I had a VXR 28 last season but sold it in January to buy the new PSE EVL 32. I wasn’t impressed with the V3 31 or 27 but I’m intrigued with the TRX 34. I’ve never been into target archery but would like to get into it. What do I need to look at between the 34 and the 36?
Slick setup. If you bother changing strings try all black with a flo yellow rest cord and d loop?
Hey Chris Bee, I'm a bit of a danseur and still shoot fingers on my older Mathews Solocam 40". Have been able to lay your hands on the TRX 38 G2? With your feedback on the 34, I was wondering if that might be a viable option for a new hunting platform for a stubborn finger shooter. Thanks!

Might try a verifier. Worked great for failing eyesight in my aiming eye. Cleared up the double pin, and clarified the target.
For me/beginners, an Ultraview detailed overview would be super.

I always enjoy watching your videos Chris! I own the Traverse and absolutely love it! I definitely would like to try the TRX 34 to see if I like it. 34 inches seems to be my comfort length on bows. I'm not into the short axle to axle setups. I prefer a longer bow for better stability. Thanks for sharing the video! Very cool!

Find a “Bee yellow” to match the stabilizer. The string color is yellow gold. Enjoyed walking through the third axis procedure.

Got my new Mathews v3. Love the bow and getting it sighted in. Is the grip just the side plates and what advantages are there to that instead of the full grip.

With the longer ATA do you have a shorter draw length and longer d-loop because of the string anlge? I know if I have the same DL on a 34" ata bow and a 28" ata I have to tilt my head back to get the string on my nose of the 34" so I have to shorten the DL a bit and lengthen the d-loop to get everything the same.
What kind of sights do you run Chris? I just purchased an new halon 6 and was looking g for a more accurate sight !

Stick with the string colour, just add that colour to the Bee reel grip and stabs. The strings look great!

Is there a company that makes sight clarifiers that can put a prescription in it? So you could shoot with your glasses off but still have your prescription in front of you
Neon yellow string would be perfect on that set up, you're close though but it'll just be perfect with neon yellow!

What do you use to create your range tapes for your sights?
I had a black Halon X Pro at one point. I ended up trading it for some 2A gear... Looking back, I wish I would have kept it and just out right bought the 2A gear. That bow was a dime with the anodized finish. It would rip'em also.

Which TACs are you shooting this year? I shot Tennessee then I’m shooting at Boyne and Park City.
How was the Tennessee shoot? I ended up having to cancel mine because my bow never came in.
