Unboxing my brand new Gretsch USA kit in my favorite room in Hungary, called Freskó.
It's a Solid Black Nitron, a kinda Terry Bozzio 1976-78 tribute kit with some extras.

It's a brand new set of 9000 Drum Workshop hardware, and legless 5000 hihat stand, and two single chain 5000 bass pedals.
I'm using the factory Remo drumheads on this video.
Vic Firth X5A sticks.
The interface is Allen & Heath Qu-SB
The kit sounds incredible and sooo loud!
Drums recorded only with 4 sE Electronics Microphones: V-Kick on the kicks, and a pair of XR1 behind me. Sounds beautiful!

Sounds great, kinda reminds me of the black and white pearl kit Gregg Bissonnette played in the 80s with David Lee Roth, at the Buddy Rich Memorial Concert, and his private lesson video. Deep, bold, open sound.

It helps that you're a monster drummer, but that kit does sound utterly amazing, especially in that room.

the 18” floor tom is an absolute beast!
I really like the mic placement in the BIG room. It captures the beauty and natural resonance of your Gretsch drums. Modern music often loses these beautiful resonant sounds on drums. The Black Nitron color is awesome!

they sound great cant beat a 24" kick love that sound. the 15" floor sound very good i used to have a 12x15 and never could get a decent sound out of it that matched the rest of the kit, they were Ludwig
Beautiful kit! I love the piano black. I love those big tom sizes too! Kind of old school, so cool. A 15 floor tom is a great all around size too, and very rare. This is almost an early Neil Peart style kit.
They sound amazing too! I would like to see Gergo play some classic rock and fusion on them!
