- Storm Arwen bringing strong winds and snowfall to Braemar in the Cairngorms National Park, Aberdeenshire, Scotland on Friday 26th November 2021. This film, taken throughout the day, shows the increasing snowfall and strengthening winds around Braemar, including Braemar Golf Course, The Fife Arms, Hazelnut Patisserie and the Braemar Gathering and Highland Games Centre. The music is a composition called "Farewell To The King (Lament To Macbeth)" composed and played by Paul Anderson from Tarland, from his album "Land of the Standing Stones".
Upstate New York here. Similar sights with first snow. We, unfortunately, don't have the lovely old buildings and deep, deep history you do. These vids are so lovely. It doesn't matter if it is bands and singing in the summer and fall or the glorious winter storms. Thank you for taking the time to share.

So beautiful, I'm an American of Scottish decent.
I remember walking home on Christmas Eve from church. We walked about 7kilometers because there was no bus or taxi service. That was in Glasgow. It was so beautiful and still is. That fresh snowfall.

As banks close must be very difficult to withdraw money because off power cuts due to the storm and nobody would be able to buy food and nobody tells you how to store insulin either without electric because it as be kept in fridge

The big deal is there was gusts of wind over 100 mph, loads of damage done and people in some areas are still without power. Not just winter weather, but a very bad storm
