- The A93 Snow Road through the Cairngorms in Scotland, from Glenshee Ski Centre to Braemar through Glen Clunie.
The Snow Road is a 90-mile route through the Scottish highlands, from the market town of Blairgowrie in Perthshire to the Highland town of Grantown-on-Spey in Aberdeenshire. This route experiences heavy snowfall in winter and snow gates are used to shut the road. This was filmed after the gates were reopened following their closure during storm Caroline in early December 2017.

I have driven this road a few times and it is one of the best drives you can enjoy.

A cracking drive on a summers day back to where I grew up further down the road.
Looks like something straight out of the Arctic especially with the beautiful crisp sunshine. Pity that this is becoming less of a sight in recent years
Aye true. Last year we had very little snow all winter and this is nothing to many years ago when it would have been feet deep the whole journey.

Maybe... I was up there skiing in April after this vid, and there was still a shedload of snow, remember some woman up there saying something like "this'll be the last weekend, end of season" and so on, we got more though, maybe we get carried away by the AGW narrative. And there's a whole lot more snow up there now!

This popped up on my playlist, and I’m not far away. And we got 15 inches of snow. Yes it’s beautiful. No good for nipping out for milk.

It used to be 4 months a year but in recent years there has been very little.
