They were basically in permanent crunch, and yet MAPPA kept taking on more projects. MAPPA was supposed to be against this, now they're just another greedy corporation sullying their name and reputation.

madhouse is basically shit now tho lmao. most of the employees from season one work with bones and mappa now. the founder of madhouse also moved and founded mappa so mappa, bones and ufotable are the best.
MAPPA has currently 11 animators of about this guys class each one of them has to draw tons detailed frames per day and they do this almost all year long. Now you see why they can’t pump out stuff like this animation which probably took 5 months for this guy (for a minute of this animation quality) and MAPPA’s 11 animators have to get multiple episodes drawn in this time period. Put some respect on MAPPA Animators names they don’t have the time or get payed enough to do the work they already have been making.
