What they did with 1979 is truly incredible. They took a song I already loved and made me hear it in a new light I like as much and more than the original.

Agreed. Not going to lie, I was never really into Smashing Pumpkins. The lead's vocals are a little rough to get into. But Dustin? Yea, that's my shit right there.

Grew up as huge SP fan, Thrice all-time favorite but SP was 1st. Righteous cover, the Charger in the video was sick and appreciate the nova wagon in Black Honey.

Why are they playing so fast??? I love the Pumpkins even more than I love THRICE....never thought I'd be dissapointed by either, but Damn guys CHILLLLL!!!! tempo.
I noticed the tempo is a little faster too but I think it works for this version..
The pumpkins speed it up damn near twice this speed at times live.
You can tell the video editor isn't a guitar player. I'm trying to learn the chords but it cuts away every time.
