Here's something a lot of people mess up when making glock 17s (the one in the refference image is not a 17). The bevel on the slide is not actually a full bevel in the front. There's a crease created where the edges meet, so on each corner. It's really really hard to see in refference images, but it's there on the real one and on replicas.
How do i make the blocks thinner? I tried to make a gun today and it looks blocky af plus its not straigth its curved and slanted in some areas please help the tutorials ive watched are garbage
@@antisocial8943 try to recreate it. he mostly used loopcuts, moving vertices/edges/faces, scaling, extruding, used booleans, used bevels and used mirrors. try to recreate it, in order for you to gain experience in topology and how future geometry might mess up your topology. you might finish it in 3 days, maybe a week with googling to blender docs, forums or specific yt tutorials for the tools he used, and youll understand more than you might think. cheers and hopefully have fun creating it.
If you have x-ray mode enabled like you should instead of clicking on the verticies you have to drag ur mouse onto the point instead of single clicking it
bro you are really a professional, I appreciate your work. but please tell me how can, I also model like you please reply Its a humble request please bro reply🙏🙏. ASAP!! 🙏
i know im late but incase anyone else is wondering or op is still wondering you can go to addons and get bool tools a really useful easy way to apply booleans and there are tutorials to use it on youtube
basically: 1: grab an image, add it as reference 2: take a plane, make loop cuts (ctrl + r) and select them to drag them into correct position 3: repeat throughout entire gun 4: extrude outward hope this helped :D

Like an idiot I forgot to download the actual unity(I downloaded unity hub) till I went to start a game and now I'm on 50kbps wifi trying to download 7 GB worth of apps so I'm gonna do the modeling first
Sorry for being late. To move the vertices one by one press G and then the axis (x,y,z) and when you have two or more selected you can expand or reduce the distance between them with S (scale).
I have a freelancing website where I can help you with your own projects, check it out! es.fiverr.com/calp12

Thank you for your videos, please keep making them! You’re helping me a lot, I’m subscribing.

i hate how good you are, i dont know if thats an insult or compliment
ur just jealous of him
@@ASquareGamingYT saber is only saying that because it’s too fast paced for people him you and me, and if anyone is jealous, it’s you.

You can use the bevel tool or the subdivision surface modifier
step 1 - get reference image
step 2 - model the gun
The image is from google. Just search "glock side view" and you'll have it
@@HowtoGeneral3D He means that tou didnt put subtitles for beginers to know what hotkeys are you using and tools
At the same time it's like how do you use all the Requirements in blender
The Image part I understand everything else is just Obfuscated to me.

Great Tutorial man keep going ♥️
why did u never use any modifiers like mirror or subdivision to get more detail.
you dont really need a mirror modifier for a gun but subdivision i can agree with
if he is not going for detail though then thats probably why he didnt use it
How are you making the stuff smaller around 1:56
press s to scale
extrude by E and then press S to scale to your liking
Thanks! I learned a lot
how do you make it to where you edit the vertices behind the ones your clicking?
you need to go in wireframe view and select the vertices you want, you may way want to select a area instead of a simple clicking
If you have x-ray mode enabled like you should instead of clicking on the verticies you have to drag ur mouse onto the point instead of single clicking it
Alt + Z for shortcut
You press B and then drag to select
@@eleunamepol7653 or x ray mode

Blender pro!!! And the Background music was also OP!!!
thank you so much for your videos
can someone help me and explain to me why I don't have apply in array and bevel thank you 5:11
I applied array and boolean to make a "hole" in the main mesh with the shape I wanted (long cubes).
THX BRO your great
Do you do anything with your models?
That's a model of glock from person that never seen one, other than that great model.
4:51 can someone send me a video on a video teaching you how he made those indents
its a modifier named Boolean search it up and you'll find tuts about it
i believe he went to modifiers and selected boolean.

Amazing
does anybody know how he is outlining it and making the basic model
basically:
1: grab an image, add it as reference
2: take a plane, make loop cuts (ctrl + r) and select them to drag them into correct position
3: repeat throughout entire gun
4: extrude outward
hope this helped :D

this is not a tutorial, it's a timelapse -_-
For me it's a tutorial. It actually shows what I need to do to model the gun, and if I cant process it I can just slow it down
weeew!!
noicee
Use boolean
too fast
nice tutorial but i think it still needs some subdivisions and bevels
how to but you just show us at 5x speed. impossible to follow even if you're skilled at blender :/ dislike
