  • Here's a short video showing you exactly how I meal prep every week. No crazy planning or weighing anything. This video is only 4 minutes long because it really is that simple. Once you get the hang of it shopping, prepping, and cooking is a breeze. You can cook once a week or every couple of days without even thinking about it.
I have dubbed this method the V.P.C. Meal Prep Method. Veggies, Protein, Carbs. Boom! Not saying I'm a genious or anything, but I am saying I'm sick of seeing people over complicating things. We're all busy. We're not perfect. Let's take a little time to plan ahead by putting our health and sanity first.
I hope you enjoy my video. See you next time!

Great video! I noticed you used Van Camp's beans. Is that good for diabetics? I like to eat them, but I always cut back because I thought they were unhealthy.

Thanks for watching! I think it depends on the individual. This bean brand in particular has 23 carbs and 6 grams of fiber which is a bit better than Bush's or other brands. For my brother, he does very well with beans. His glucose spikers are rice and pasta. That's why we usually stick to some sort of bean or potato. Just have to experiment unfortunately.

    Do you freeze these?

I haven't tried because we go through them all within the week. But I don't see why they wouldn't. Just make sure you let them cool before you put them in the freezer so the condensation doesn't freeze then lead to freezer burn or soggy food when reheating :)
