Hi I'm Brittany.
I like to keep things simple.
My goal is not to be perfect but to get things done in the simplest way possible so I have time for more fun stuff.
There will always be better and more specialized ways to do everything. There will always be experts out there that priorities that one particular hobby as their way of life and that is great too!.
But for me, a "Plain Jane" that has too many interests, I just want to be able to juggle everything with as little stress as possible while still enjoying the process!

It's so simple...thank you for keeping it that way. We have our own regenerative farm, and my dogs love every part of the chicken. I like to grind for the base, but we also feed organs, necks, feet...nothing gets wasted. I also give them raw beef/lamb bones from time to time. The difference in their coat, energy, teeth (and breath!!) is amazing.
I'm with you! Real food - even if not perfect is better than that kibble with sprayed on synthetic vitamins !
Thanks for sharing. I loved the great information.❤❤❤❤❤
Your dog is beautiful!!
I like your attitude! Do what works for you! You are a realist. So many videos make it so complicated and it’s discouraging. If it gets complicated, it gets tossed out, so I have taken on the theory that no matter what I feed him will always be better than the best kibble. I have yoyo’d with raw because it is time consuming, but your videos motivated me to start up again. Thank you.
Tysm for this
I would love to see a four minute quick breakdown on what the hell I go buy. I’m already convinced on a raw diet. But I can’t seem to find anything other than go to Costco by the biggest bags you can of raw chicken ground beef, blend that type of stuff up throw some fish oil in the mix and you’re good to go🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Started my 6 little dogs on Raw chicken last night... this morning I wake up to diarrhea all over... I am not giving yet
Anyone try this and get diarrhea dog? Haha I want to do this for the pup but not down with the squirts
Hi thank you for this video, I’ve been a nervous wreck trying to figure out how to start this without hurting my German Shepard. What is the name of the grinder you use?
Omg i love what you do. Thanks for sharing. Its easy and complete
Never thought about a food grinder. Brilliant!
You take such good care of him! Such wonderful dog parents! 🥰♥️ this video is so helpful!
Great video, good laughs, and thanks for the info.
Great. What plate size do you use?
How do you afford that? Your dog eats better that most people. Ridiculous!
Absolutely the BEST video I have seen on raw feeding. THANK YOU for simplifying this! I was getting so overwhelmed with the super precise calculations of ratios and special expensive supplements. You hit the nail on the head- anything raw is so much more nutritious than the garbage “dog cereal!” Thank you so much!!! ❤
Good info! Thanks for sharing.
It really can be overwhelming if you watch some of the so called experts make a raw diet with green lipped muscles and multiple organ sources, the way I see it giving my dog raw meat with a bone supplement and freeze dried liver is 100% better than kibble, my dog is only 12 lbs so that makes it a bit cheaper, so I start with grass fed burger patties from Costco and add, eggs, bone supplement , fish oil, freeze dried liver, and I’m going to explore giving some chicken hearts and wings too.
I learned from you and I'm not doing it. I bought a LEM Big Bite #12 Grinder (I subscribed to their website and waited for a good discount and bought a refurbished one). It has a warranty and is certified to make dog food and grind chicken bones. I also bought their meat packaging system, so it's super simple. Just grind and it goes right into 1lb bags. 40lbs of quarters takes me about 1.5 hours to grind. I mix in some ground beef too.
Do you feed him one or two meals a day? I want to start this kind of feeding to our small dog but the amount says 162.5 grams daily. I’m worried it’s too small of amount for a whole day.
Much respect! Great Hunt. Thanks for sharing.
Most veterinarians in this country suck and they all work under commission, beware when picking vets and large vet groups are a red flag. Any vet affiliated with VCA stay away from they are all commission based vets who are looking to take your money
Did you buy the $459 grinder or the $759 one love your video I’m getting my dog on the same thing
You truly care about your dog! Bottom line is you are doing a great job and should be proud of yourself.
I'm glad I found this video. Are you feeding just the 1 prepped container per day? or do you feed him 1 in the AM and another in the PM? Lastly, did you immediately convert to raw, or did you transition from kibble to raw over a few days or week? The slightest change in food will wreak havoc on our GSD's stomach. Anyway, great video!!
Which one is the size of your grinder. When I clicked in the video the 12 sizes is the choosen one.
Thankyou very much just started feeding my Dogo Argentina puppy and pitbull the chicken from Gordon’s food supply wich I never knew about! It’s soooo cheap!!!! Cheaper than kibble!! So now I just give my dogs a chicken quarter and some eggs and some table scraps and it’s great!!!
Thank you. Very informative. I am looking for a new meter. I used the sidekick all in one for convenience of strips and meter all in one.
Its good to see content for dogs that are at least 100 lbs. I have 2 and both are 100lbs. Hard to get a feel for feeding big dogs raw when the creator is feeding a 10 lb poodle. 😅 no hate on the smaller dogs, just good to see.
Don't feel judged. You do like i did. We have 2 boerboels, 1.6 % of jody weight. We live in a small town and now feed mostly green tripe, heart, lung liver, chicken gizzards and hearts. We r able to source kidneys and intestines from chicken or sheep. But we live in a farming town. We started with what we could afford and the dogs were already better. Sadly the vet here keeps wanting them on kibble. It is not affirdable for us so she doesnt push. But they love theur meals. I changed thier diet after seeibg your video and was inspired. Besides, i thought, i dontmaje this huge effort balancing my hunan families food. Most annoying, i used to watch a youtuber about raw food. She insisted on balance and that i had to include muscle meat. She is obsessed with balance. All this after i saud tgat we don’tbuy enough muscle meat for tge humans in the house. So out of touch and unbalanced view..
Do you ever give him beef or just chicken everyday?
Amazing 👏. Ty!
That was really helpful, especially to hear that a simple, repetitive diet has still been so effective. I find it funny that the idea of feeding kibble every day can seem normal, but then when thinking of switching to raw food, I feel obliged to add much more variety. Thank you for the encouragement and practical advice.
What would you add for a puppy(large breed, adult will be100+lbs) from your raw meal? There are so many videos and its confusing
Thank you for making this video! I have a working line gsd who's just 6 months old and I've been so curious about how to affordably feed a bigger breed dog something other than kibble. Almost all the raw foos diet videos are for much smaller dogs and it's hard to judge the cost.
I feed raw to my dog that I get from a butcher shop. But they are cutting back. So my question is where do some of you guys get your meats from? I’m close to York, Pa area
Did he have any digestive problems when you transitioned him? If so how did you remedy it? Also about grinding bone..does it have to be a special kind of grinder or just a meat grinder?
Humans don't have a nutritional need for grains either 😊
What meat grinder are you using? I like that it handles the bones too
How long does it take for each frozen container to thaw in the fridge? Are you finding chicken for $1 per pound? What about any veggies? Do you ever grind up carrots or other veggies? Thank you for the video … best one yet!!
You mentioned feeding 1-2 % of body weight. I have always heard it should be 2-3 %
I've been seriously thinking about doing this. I get the raw beef but is it safe to give raw chicken??
Where did you buy the grinder from?
Are bones required to be ground?
I love this video! You're absolutely correct in your opinion. I personally don't own a dog right now but I'm researching because I want a dog. I saw all this raw food stuff and felt it was way too daunting, but your videos make it seem much more manageable. Keep posting and disregard the negative ppl.
Right on, thank you for such a great attitude and simple, refreshing approach.
so idk if you can answer a question for me but are his farts terrible on this diet? I feed my dogs "raw" food from petco and they are almost non existent but I tried to start giving them kibble again and had to take them off because their farts were so bad I couldn't be in the same room as them and they would fart every 5 minutes on the kibble 😂😂 I really wanna start feeding my dogs like thus but I just can't deal with gas again
Wow, I have a big dog too and a shephard mix. This was verrrry helpful since I was in "overwhelm" land with all these fancy meals too. I do use Meal Mix from Dr. Mercola that hopefully takes care of the other nutrients (micro and macro) they need. Thank you again. I'll check out the meat grinder as I am nervous giving him bones to chew. (wimpy mom alert)
Can you please tell me the exact model number or your grinder? We want the exact same one. The link takes us to several options. Thanks!
