@jbbuzzable I am planning on testing the water soon. It would be nice not to have to haul so much water from South Texas out to the ranch every time. Thanks for watching the progress.
El paso is not too far, for now I will not be able to give exact distances. When I live at the ranch full-time, everyone will know where it is, but for now, I have to keep it a secret. All the planning is coming together nice. Thanks for following along with the project as always.
Great work as always Simon. Happy to hear that the tracks may be close. Every time I see a fire in your wood stove I feel happy. I imagine how cozy and welcoming it feels 👍 I don't understand why you are not starting your circulating pump before the fire is lit. Doesn't an expansion tank handle pressure build as the water heats? Just curious 😊
Yes, you are right about the little stove it makes all the difference for comfort. The water set-up is very rudimentary. There is a barrel on the roof of the outhouse shower. It is not pressurized. It is a gravity system. The heat exchanger is just a loop that takes water from the barbecue pit and dumps it back into the top of the barrel. I haven't had any more problems with it since I started to turn the pump on before I lit the fire in the barbecue pit. Thanks for following along with the project as always.
@@TimelineRanch Thanks for the background! I thought there was a specific reason - but I was mis-remembering 😉 Getting old ... Happy Thanksgiving Simon 👍

That was fun to see you pumping from the well there in the middle of the video! ☺☺☺
I thought it would be interesting to see where the water I'm using is coming from. Thanks for watching the project.
{t would be interesting to see a water test from the well just to see what it is like.

Thanks for the compliment and watching as always. It's coming together nicely. I was glad to see it finally on the wall.
what are you using for the back of the tiles to the wall?
Thanks for watching the project. I use standard tile adhesive it bonds very well to the hearty backer.
