    The duck must have been happy to find a water body but also disappointed that there was no food in the water (yet).

      Yes, I'm sure the duck needed a break. When the pond is done, I will have large flocks of ducks stopping by, I'm sure. Thanks for following along with the ranch build as always.

    Good morning from Arizona. You have the perfect set of toys. Couple questions: 1. How far is the nearest gas station. 2. About how much would a trailer like yours run?

    • @TimelineRanch

      Good morning. Thanks for watching the project. The nearest gas station is about 30 miles away down gravel roads. I paid 8,500 hundred for the dump trailer back in 2018. I would say by now the price is close to 10,000 though.

    Just out of curiosity, how hours have you put on this machine while working the project? lol Love watching the progress brother! Praise the Lord, everyday!

    • @TimelineRanch

      The machine has 1,384 hours on it now. This video was from last year in December. I have done work with the machine away from the ranch, too. I would say probably around 700 hours are from working at the ranch with it. Thanks for following along with the ranch build as always.

    That is alot of wear and tear on your truck/trailer. Its time to get a single or dual axle dump truck.? Its looking good!

    • @TimelineRanch

      Well, I found over the past 10 years that if you keep the truck for five years and traded in, you only pay about $10,000 for a new truck. The replacement parts on the trailer are quite cheap and affordable on my budget. I would not be able to leave a dump truck at the ranch. When I'm gone, the wildlife and just it sitting there would degrade it to the point it would be unusable by the time I get back. Thanks for following along as always. For now, I will have to keep going the way I have been. Everything will change when I can be at the ranch full-time.

  • @MohdAradi

    you need some wind break trees and a vitex tree
    the vitex grows rapidly and can hold on in any soil conditions
    any water condition and desert environments and has some branches can even grow an inch in two months so it is also great for firewood and biomass production edit: oh and they clone easy from cuttings
    If possible for next video if you could get a pomegranate eat most of it and plant the seeds next to the other trees near the pond

    • @TimelineRanch

      I have been growing 16 pomegranates for one year now. They will go out to the ranch when phase one of the pond is done. I will probably plant some vitex around the ranch. They grow well in central Texas in the wild. Thanks for following along as always.

    A 6x6 2.5 or 5 ton military dump truck would greatly speed up your production and save your truck. I think the older ones are all mechanical so rats and stuff wouldn't be as big of an issue. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoy watching your progress.

    • @TimelineRanch

      I have thought about other options to move the spoils. The biggest problem is that sometimes it's seven months between trips out to the ranch. The dump truck would have all kinds of problems when I try to get it running again. The other problem would be the mice and rats. The Subaru that's been at the ranch for a good long while now is all torn up. They have eaten all the insulation off the wires eaten into all of the seats, and the whole car is full of pee and droppings to the point you would have to have a tyvek suit to get into it. I think until I'm at the ranch full-time, the dump trailer is my best option for now. Thanks for following along with the ranch build as always.

    Do you have any natural ground water there?

    • @TimelineRanch

      Good question, and thanks for watching the project. There is ground water in some areas around here, but it's not Guaranteed, you're going to find it in every spot. The water is 350 feet to 750 feet down. I could not afford the 30,000 to 50,000 thousand to drill a well, so I built my own setup.
