That 1st cement bag breaking after going down the slide had me in stitches (I feel like the equivalent always happens on every project I touch). This whole video was very well edited. Nice job on the wall too.
This video is epic. This project is epic. Mujin is a badass new god. "I decided a sassy little window would really tie this whole f**ing thing together" had me actually laughing out loud. I'm gonna post the link to this video in a few places to try to get it some more views. Keep up the great work, man.
found this on Reddit. Excellent. How anyone has so much energy to do this and create a video is a miracle. With the dark humor and metal licks too. Kewl.
Thanks for making a tough job a hundred times harder by expertly filming it. This is a great fun way to chronicle your home remodel. I really DIG your style.
Your editing is so so original. I love that a remodel video can have whatever style and vibe you want. Conforming to the algorithm is what devolved into job applications where there’s two chat gtps reading each other. Thank you for breaking out.
I've had this in "watch later" for a couple of weeks now. Ridiculously amazing. You had me at death metal. And kept me through how I imagine Bob Ross would tell the inspectors what a footer should be.
Damn. The most cinematic and "out there" home DIY I've ever watched. The video itself deserves an award. But so does the project which was no walk in the park.
Thanks for the very bad memories ! I did the very exact same thing about 10 years ago in NY - including opening up the hidden space and the dirt floor and outside house (in reality super hard clay to dig through) I think we hired the same home inspector. I took the easy way out - and built all the way up with cinder blocks only. No replacing the bricks. Great video. Thanks for a fun video and bad memories.
Hey mate. Great work. Very talented. You can do carpentry, brick laying, play the guitar like an absolute weapon, great humour and a wizard at editing. This should have way more views.
I'm assuming this man doesn't have kids. If he did during this renovation I'm inclined to believe he's not human. Having the energy to produce this whilst actually doing insane renovation and adding jokes is mind blowing to me.
Home reno work and some shredding in the basement, hell yes!! We get to sit back, enjoy and get secondhand satisfaction from a job well done while you put in the outrageous amount of effort with the job itself, filming and editing!! Keep it up
old video and what not, but I'm so glad TH-cam decided to recommend your most recent one. I have thoroughly enjoy all the ones I've seen so far. Your teaching and humor and editing is top notch. Keep going man, hope you're able to find more time.
Fast edits, subtly embedded dank memes, non-sequitur nihilistic quotes, heavy metal riffs, cinematic videography, humble and honest narration, underappreciated construction science body of knowledge, overly disclosed disclaimers. I am your target audience. Subscribed.
brother, I have been with my dad who's a plumber in basements tearing up concrete to remove drain pipe and I'm sending to this to him haha. The fact that you were able to have the willpower to do this on your own is astounding. Buy some more property and keep making videos like this. I got recommended from your video on doing the floor btw, I have been there with pouring but have yet to be flipped by a concrete mixer hahaha
A tough DIY job complicated more with filming worthy content, excellent humor, story content, editing, rants. All the way around great video! Most of all you were educational while keeping attention. one of the best videos I've seen on TH-cam ever.
You're so funny, I love finding channels like yours. It must be so hard to put this amount of effort into the editing and jokes so I immediately subscribed to show my appreciation
So I stumbled onto this from your IG and while I have zero interest in foundation work and my hardcore ADHD usually prevents me from ever watching a near 30 minute YT video, I was hooked. Epic stuff dude! I sub'd, liked, saved, tweeted, and all that other stuff. 🤘🏻
I have watched this video on 3 different occasions. Dude, this is a perfect TH-cam video: building, metal, good commentary, good editing. Mujin is the whole package. That video on printing presses should land him a job in television.
Great work man! I have done this a few times in my career. Your work is especially impressive as an essentially a one man show. I'm not sure what you do for a living otherwise but you sure have put in the work to consider, research and implement the structural aspects that we see problems with daily. Kudos to a job well done, safely. You should be very proud!
It sucks that there's a more popular channel spelled exactly the same as this one except the umlaut. This channel deserves way more recognition than that one.
Dude. This is literally the best piece of making video I've found in a long time and I recently discovered stuff made here. Please, pretty please, continue this channel. I laught my ass off when you drilled holes into the car 😂
I never thought watching a long haired American playing Metallica would interest me as a Chinese living in the south of UK but it did, a lot ! Keep it coming, education and hilarious commentary. Love it !
Great video my man!! Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to film the entire operation!!!! I have a very similar situation on my personal property and have been worried sick about it and didn’t even know where to begin. This video is the best I’ve found in months of endless searching , very professional , berry informative, and very patient and hard working expertise displayed throughout ! Thanks again , man It’s everything ca muster just to get in a space like that and fight that uphill battle , but to do it and have the extra hurdle of producing such a professional quantity documentary of the entire operator is absolutely outstanding ! Your this man my friend ! Hats off to you and again thank you for the time and effort !!!!!!!
I used to play that Disney alb in my bedroom as a kid. We had the entire set. I recognized the music instantly. Was sit called The Apprentice? Mickey was a sorcerer in training and filled up a basement with water.....obviously you listened to so I won't bore you. I said this in the comments to your ash bow saw video, but I'll say it again. You are very good at making videos. Very entertaining. I wish you'd make more of them. Anyway, great job. And thanks for the video. Be well.
Great video! Great death room in the basement. I think maybe the foundation wall started to collapse, and their solution was to build that wall and fill it w/ dirt to equalize the pressure on those bricks. Or maybe it was just a change during construction... (since the bricks didn't even touch the slab.. strange...)
I have to do about 6 foot of light duty footing along the edge of a thin garage slab to support the wall which was sitting on raw dirt, rotten, and mouldy. Yay. Also french drain under and around it and across the backmof the slab too.
I like the things you did with your hands while you did other things with your mouth. I also liked the things you did with that vibrating string machine. It pleased me.
A guy on TH-cam who is not afraid to WORK and get stuff done in a 100% original way. Love it man.
Did the algorithm also send him to you 3 years later?
Mujin x metaspencer colab let's go!
That 1st cement bag breaking after going down the slide had me in stitches (I feel like the equivalent always happens on every project I touch). This whole video was very well edited. Nice job on the wall too.
It was the “subscribe” right after it split that really sent me.
that was far more entertaining for a foundation repair than I thought it would be.
This video is epic. This project is epic. Mujin is a badass new god.
"I decided a sassy little window would really tie this whole f**ing thing together" had me actually laughing out loud. I'm gonna post the link to this video in a few places to try to get it some more views.
Keep up the great work, man.
incredible documentation here. i also LOL at the sassy window comment 😂
found this on Reddit. Excellent. How anyone has so much energy to do this and create a video is a miracle. With the dark humor and metal licks too. Kewl.
You have the same time, you could do it also.
rebuild foundations, create a music video, and narrate it like it was written by Chuck Palahniuk.. cake walk
Ya know if you hadn't said you came from reddit I could have guessed you came from reddit
Thanks for making a tough job a hundred times harder by expertly filming it. This is a great fun way to chronicle your home remodel. I really DIG your style.
You are one of the hidden gems of youtube. Keep up the good work, small boy.
Your editing is so so original. I love that a remodel video can have whatever style and vibe you want. Conforming to the algorithm is what devolved into job applications where there’s two chat gtps reading each other. Thank you for breaking out.
Thank you, I appreciate that.
"I decided to sassy a little window in there to really tie this whole fucking thing together" had me dying
Do WAY more of this. It's amazing. Subbed to see what will become of the "rainy day" brick.
I've had this in "watch later" for a couple of weeks now. Ridiculously amazing. You had me at death metal. And kept me through how I imagine Bob Ross would tell the inspectors what a footer should be.

Criminally underrated channel, Thanks dude, Subbed.
What an awesome video. Not sure how you don't have half a million subscribers so here is one towards that
Yo this was a piece of art
this video has way more effort put into it than any other video I've seen my whole life
Wow! The combination of talents and humor on display in this video is super impressive. Subbed to see what else you’ve been up to in the last 3 years.
Hey mate. Great work. Very talented. You can do carpentry, brick laying, play the guitar like an absolute weapon, great humour and a wizard at editing. This should have way more views.
Finally, someone who can give me proper brick facts. Half as Interesting could never.
out of all the foundation videos out there, this one has the best sound track!
I'm assuming this man doesn't have kids. If he did during this renovation I'm inclined to believe he's not human. Having the energy to produce this whilst actually doing insane renovation and adding jokes is mind blowing to me.
So glad it found your channel. You are crazy talented.
When I have kids your videos will be part of their educational curriculum.
Home reno work and some shredding in the basement, hell yes!!
We get to sit back, enjoy and get secondhand satisfaction from a job well done while you put in the outrageous amount of effort with the job itself, filming and editing!! Keep it up
I just found your channel, and I absolutely love it. I really hope you keep making stuff like this because you were born for it.
Thank you so much - I'm certainly going to try!
This is a really entertaining way to show people why they should just hire a professional instead.
In a way he paid himself $30,000 worth of labor
I’m not sure what I just watched! But, that was impressive and the added flavor of heavy metal, dark humor, and a horror film vibe… Two thumbs up!
You did a great job for a smol boy. Great video! I subbed as soon as the metal interlude hit.
Absolutely worth the wait. I can’t believe you fucking did this on your own. Interlude was sick. Hell yeah brother 🤘🏻
Why does this not have millions of views? This is awesome. You are awesome, Mujin.
Midwest magic sent/referred me. Great job and I laughed so hard I woke family up❣️👌🤣
extremely entertaining, i have a calc 2 midterm coming up in a couple hours but I watched this instead of studying
"Well, that'd just be okay." I felt that in my soul
Its crazy that a video about laying brick can be so entertaining i come back to it several days later to rewatch it
hello sir I am a professional viewer and tell you hwat that's a good video you got there
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. I really look forward to your next videos.
old video and what not, but I'm so glad TH-cam decided to recommend your most recent one. I have thoroughly enjoy all the ones I've seen so far. Your teaching and humor and editing is top notch. Keep going man, hope you're able to find more time.

Hands down (and hands up) the most entertaining build channel since ever.
Fast edits, subtly embedded dank memes, non-sequitur nihilistic quotes, heavy metal riffs, cinematic videography, humble and honest narration, underappreciated construction science body of knowledge, overly disclosed disclaimers. I am your target audience. Subscribed.
Great doing mate. Love how you kept at least a LOOK at the tedium of these projects in, really cool stuff!
This is some quality content, I too am an extreme DIYer and have found myself doing projects I’m far from qualified for, but this is on another level
I subscribed just for the mind blowing editing. And the content was great too. How this channel only has 16K subs is beyond me.
Well done lad, a LOT of hard work, but well worth the outcome. Also spat my tea out laughing at the cement slide.
Came here from reddit...was not disappointed!

I'm just seeing this now. Your page is way underrated. Great work on your repair and subbed!
More of these videos! This one was great! New sub!
24:48 wow indeed. Amazing. you are permitted to be “over it”. brutal labor levels. Bravo. Unreal edits and after effects
A tough DIY job complicated more with filming worthy content, excellent humor, story content, editing, rants. All the way around great video! Most of all you were educational while keeping attention. one of the best videos I've seen on TH-cam ever.
Great project, and great video editing, memes, and music selection. Subbed. Now I just want a playlist of the music lol.
You're so funny, I love finding channels like yours. It must be so hard to put this amount of effort into the editing and jokes so I immediately subscribed to show my appreciation
This is one of the most unique, hilarious and fully entertaining videos I've ever seen. Subscribed!
wtf, I think I just found my new favourite channel. I love the metal vibes 🤘
So I stumbled onto this from your IG and while I have zero interest in foundation work and my hardcore ADHD usually prevents me from ever watching a near 30 minute YT video, I was hooked. Epic stuff dude! I sub'd, liked, saved, tweeted, and all that other stuff. 🤘🏻
Thanks a ton!
Great job man.
I love the editing! It was great to watch and super entertaining. Good luck with the renovations!
Don't think I've ever seen such a determined mad man.
Job well done! Here in Connecticut you would have to use 10" blocks. 8" blocks are only permitted for crawl spaces.
I have watched this video on 3 different occasions. Dude, this is a perfect TH-cam video: building, metal, good commentary, good editing. Mujin is the whole package. That video on printing presses should land him a job in television.
Thank you so much! Very appreciated

Saw the floor video first, this one came up next....subbed for the shredding!!
This is the coolest home improvement video I have ever seen. You should make more.
Great production quality. Very informative and hits the sweet spot with a choice of music and a sense of humour.
Thank you!
Came for the jokes, left with knowledge of how to change my car tires properly. I appreciate this channel.
This was far more entertaining than it had any right to be. Well done on the repair, and on the awesome video. Subbed.
This video is sick, thanks for the entertainment dude 10/10 on the work
Wildly underrated this was so entertaining and interesting
It sucks that there's a more popular channel spelled exactly the same as this one except the umlaut. This channel deserves way more recognition than that one.

Great video! The fantasia montage was a nice touch!
This was incredible and this channel needs more love !

Nice work mate 🤙
Happy this showed up in my algorithm, you’ve earned yourself a subscriber good sir
God tier DIY skills. Amazing!
easily the most interesting DIY foundation/tire repair video in the galaxy.
Cool brick fact #6 was my favorite. I love brick facts.
criminally underrated video, should have alot more views.
still having trouble jacking up my car tho
you do a really good job on these... enough project info to be meaty, but you add touches that make it fun and an easy watch
Super Cool! I liked the improvised ramps for moving buckets.
I fucking love this channel dude, what a treat
great work. That is a big job for a DIY. You definitely have some experience and balls and this is not your first rodeo.

Holy fuck what a video. What a wild ride dude. The amount of effort in both the labor and the video must've been a tall task. You're an animal.
Wow, that's an incredible job! In New England, it's not allowed to use brick foundations for remodeling, but still, great work!
2:55 you earned my like for that nostalgic reference
Great video! Great death room in the basement.
I think maybe the foundation wall started to collapse, and their solution was to build that wall and fill it w/ dirt to equalize the pressure on those bricks. Or maybe it was just a change during construction... (since the bricks didn't even touch the slab.. strange...)
Who knows? Wish i could go back in time and ask
Great video! I was inspired by your construction abilities and video skills. I was just about to hit the thumbs up when I remembered rule #6.
Preparing to undergo this endeavor myself this week in Detroit. Thank you for sharing this helped a ton and gave an added boost of confidence
Good luck neighbor!
years late...but now my favorite channel
i love how the instructions got progressively more tripped out when the big part of the job started
I have to do about 6 foot of light duty footing along the edge of a thin garage slab to support the wall which was sitting on raw dirt, rotten, and mouldy. Yay. Also french drain under and around it and across the backmof the slab too.
More construction videos please. This is gold.

You're SO underrated 😩 I love your TT and commentary. 😂 "Where protection comes first" 😂😂😂😂
