I would say you need a new display. Sounds like it has gone bad. My local junkyard has a few, but I had to get two before I got a good one. TCH watersports eatonton GA. They will pull and ship but they dont test them first.
No that is my contact email. I do need to put amazon links in my videos. With an XLT 1200 your carbs are mounted sideways so you will have to put a hose inside the airbox that directs the fuel into the carb. The Xl800 is the same. These primer kits are readily available on Amazon. You wont need the fitting on the airbox cover just a drilled hole big enough to get the tubing in and route it to the carb and put small tywraps on each side to keep the hose in position. The tubing they send with the primer is NOT rated for fuel so buy the good tygon fuel line to go with it. 1/8 inside diameter.

No,because the carbs are mounted on the side of the engine. You have to drill a hole and run a tube into the carb throat.
How did you prime the system initially. Having issues with mine
Open the bleeder screw on top of the pump until oil flows out...then close it. Then prime it.
I'll never own a jetski, to much upkeep. Lol
really isn't, 2 strokes have a few important things to monitor but all I have to do all summer is just gas/oil up and go. It's all worth it for me.
