I’m having a fuel issue with a 96 zxi 1100 Just bought it the choke is stuck doesn’t move in or out. Pulled the fuel line no fuel coming out! Also the gas cap is broken not sealed properly and the gas control valve is also hard to move from reserv. off and on! Runs when I put gas in from the intake of carbs! Any input??? I would appreciate it!!
Do this test on your fuel system. th-cam.com/video/4elcVy1rkko/w-d-xo.html You will probably need to replace your choke cable or pull it and spray lube into both ends to try and free it. Your selector valve is gunked up and will need a new oring. Shannonwilliams on youtube has said you can put a seadoo setup on these to replace the kawasaki part but it is a tight fit.
@@ShadetreeJetski I found the valve on eBay with good O-Ring but it doesn’t have the pick up tubes with it. Can I remove from the old one? Also I believe mine has corrosion on it like you stated in your other video doesn’t spin freely for reserve, on and off switch
@user-vk4uq4rm2k think logically. The fuel going in is used by the engine. What the engine doesnt need it going back to the tank. You are pulling from unused fuel that sits in the return line.
Have you had any issues with your ski bogging down with the cv carb, I have a 99 stx 1100 and after a while in the water it starts to bog and lose throttle response/ acceleration
Yes you change the low speed jets from .35 to .55 and adjust the low speed screws to 1/4 turn out. Put new kits in and make sure the in carb screens are clean
Hello Sir I hope you are doing well and I can you provide me with your contact info so you can give me a quote on repairing my jet ski, I have a 1998 Kawasaki stx1100 thank you and looking forward to talk to you
Been trying for the last couple months to get this thing to start up. Finally gave in and got this kit😅 thank you sir🎉
The primer kit fixes that hard start condition.
Great info man!!
They work for hard starts.
One has a silver engine and one green. Do you know if there are any differences other than color? Thanks
They are the same engine.

@RefinedMayweather No you cant swap the lines. You can clean your old selector and replace the oring.
@@ShadetreeJetski wow that sucks haha have to spend $135 just for the gasket off it 😱
I never understood why the factorys just didn't install these instead of a choke 🤷🏻♂️
They work better than a choke for sure and I never had a 3 cylinder that didnt need one.
Should the T be installed in the fuel supply line or return line? Does it really matter?
It does matter. You have to install it in the return line.
@@ShadetreeJetski can you tell me the reason for needing to install the primer in the return line?

Would this be a replacement for the choke? I said mine was sticking earlier the choke can’t budge it at all
Not replacement but in addition to.
@@ShadetreeJetski thanks for answering questions my first ski and came with more problems than guy gave knowledge of! Glad I got it kind of low
