I bought the AudioBox USB 96 on Amazon, and I am having such a hard time setting it up. I got a new microphone as well and connected it with the XLR cable and connected it accordingly to the AudioBox 96. I have my microphone USB connection to the front of my desktop though, that's all the space I have left USB wise. I have my headphones connected to the AudioBox 96. I did have to change the USB location to the back of my computer for the audiobox but at best now I can hear myself very little on the playback. But throughout any audio recording and non recording, I am hearing this awful constant sound. Almost like tires rubbing against asphalt to a sudden brake. I've tried so many videos but I can't really pin down what the issue is. Also, on the website, (this is my first time using anything as advanced as Studio One. I've been using Audacity for years but I am sick of it honestly) I don't see Studio One Artist as an option for software.

Hi Jack, I'm afraid there is not anything that we can do about it directly, but if you contact PreSonus customer service and explain your situation, they may be able to deregister the device for you.
I had a similar issue with my Eris 3.5 monitors. I bought them as "B-Stock" from Thomann, meaning someone had ordered them, and sent them back. Unfortunately, whoever had them before me also registered them. I contacted Thomann, gave them the serial number, and they contacted Presonus as a licensed retailer, and got them de-registered. A few days later, I got an e-mail saying I was cleared to register my speakers, and voila, everything worked out fine. 👍👍👍😏😏😏
I’ve tried several times to get this interface to work, but it refuses to be recognized by my computer after trying to swap USB ports, re-installing universal control several times and rebooting the computer multiple times. If there’s anything that I’m missing please feel free to let me know because at this point it seems like I’ve wasted $100 on a fancy paperweight

I have the audio box Presonus USB Blue. I'd like to know if it works with Ableton Live. What edition? Because I borrow to a partner and he is struggling with the settings. He couldn't use it with Live. Please if you can help me. Thanks!!
After some research, it looks like it is compatible with Ableton Live. You may have to install the interface drivers on the computer you're trying to use it on!

I listened to your video and you mention that everything needed is included, however, the manual indicates that if we want to plug an instrument directly (Active instrument) we have to plug first or bridge to a D.I. box. That's, say, an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar, bass, Etc) What is true?

Great video I’m a beginning Voice Actor so I’m only using it for Voice Recording but this was still very useful Although I do have one question. I Bought the AudioBox 96 Studio so I got a Mic and Headphones along with the interface but it also came with a small Tripod Stand. I thought it was a stand for my Mic but It doesn’t connect to it so I’m just wondering what it’s for

Hey, the short answer is yes; you will be able to monitor your bass while listening to music on TH-cam with this interface. The long answer is that you may need a DAW (Logic, Pro Tools, or Reaper) with an amp sim to make your bass sound good while doing so! We hope this helps!

I feel I wasted my money buying this audio box 96. I honestly feel like dumping it in the garbage. Half the time I can't use it. I set it up and it was so good and then things changed. I have not used it for 3 months. Today, I tried setting it up again. It's just screaming!

yeah had that problem too. i only use win7 for daw´s got this bundle and had to switch to win10. the presonus part is good,, win10 is as bad as apple, i do anything besides recording with linux so it was a HUGE pain in the ass

@@marctessarolo1832 How strange, seems like it's not the interface then. Have you updated your drivers, specially the ASIO driver? It's also possible that another device may be using the ASIO driver causing it to drop out.

Hey, the Studio 24c features XMAX preamps, which are PreSonus' flagship pres. The pres in the USB96 still deliver fantastic quality though.
