Man! I was struggling all morning to find this information. The Restreamer option to allow me to run my Studio One output to OBS was the magic I needed. I cannot believe Presonus doesn't have this video on speed-dial. Thanks!
Hi Talkin' Audio, with your instructions on the video I have been able to get the input of my AudioBox USB 96 into OBS, but I am unable to get the OBS audio as in Audio input in Google Meet. Any advise on that?
Hi, I have a problem when I connect my audio interface to my PC. It generates a lot of noise, like electrical interference, which is very annoying and prevents me from making clean recordings. I am using the AUDIOBOX USB 96 interface and the RODE PODMIC dynamic microphone, but nothing I do seems to work. Thanks and regards.
It's a streaming software where you can manage audio/video elements, add text, photos, etc. before it goes out of your platform like Facebook or TH-cam.
Am buying this for basically livestreaming with vmix and my audio source is from a studio live mixer where I've mixed and adjusted all my inputs, Do I still need to do other settings on studio one before I send to my streaming software? Or will the sound come in as it is In my mixer?
I have an Audiobox and a SM58 and I am facing hard time to set it properly! It simply doesn´t work....even following these steps, I cannot send audio to OBS! Only in OBS and Win 11
Hi @Talkin' Audio, I have installed all the drivers and programs you suggested in the video. I did a trial broadcast on Zoom. My friend watching the broadcast recorded the song I sang. I added "Room Reverb" in Studio one. I heard this reverb on the Audiobox headphone output. But my friend's recording didn't have reverb. What did I do wrong or missing? Why can't I send the broadcast reverb?
Did you add the reverb as an inserts in the main bus in studio one? If you did, make sure it's placed before the reastream plugin. You just drag the plugin up or down to change the order. Make sure the reastream plugin is the last one in the FX chain. Also, a better way to add reverb to a mix is by using an FX bus, so try to learn that.
When live streaming, I usually use a combination of a bunch techniques to get a good mix. But one thing I always do is run a bunch of private test streams to get the audio right (basic levels, EQ, and amount of efx) before I go public. And during the actual thing, I rely heavily on the OBS audio meters to let me know if my audio signal levels are still in the ballpark. Also, have you accustomed yourself to the headphones? Make sure to take some time to "learn" them, listen to a lot of music and just use it a lot so you know what to look for in your mix.
I have a question... why don't people buy Presonus audio interfaces? I've heard the PreSonus audio interface has a clipping issue. And the Presonus customer service is also very bad. Is it true... Many people say this too. Presonus 96 has a lot of driver and noise problems .someone tell me what is the truth ?
You lost me at 2:38 when you said "Let's start with something simple". How about something simple like "This is how we get to the window I'm going to click things on"? You start with a window open that I don't know how to get to.
Sorry about that, but that's the OBS window (I did mention it, didn't I?). I didn't want to make this video any longer (it's already a 10min video), by covering the basic of OBS as well. And there are already sooo many OBS tutorials videos out there.
@@talkinaudio4151 My big problem is I've got Audiobox and Studio One ( and yes, picked Audiobox USB from the interface list, etc.) and I can't get the interface to interface. Just apparently no connection being made, but all the videos are like "Look, now I adjust my levels and hit record!". Well, I need to get Studio One to recognize my instrument's existence first, lol.
@@lawrencevoltz5541 , "I can't get my interface to interface" made me laugh! I have this old unlisted video ( I have yet to make an updated version of this, sorry for the crappy screen cap resolution), check it out if it will help. It doesn't use exactly the same interface, but just check out the software set up stage for something you might have missed. th-cam.com/video/-ollGLErKDg/w-d-xo.html
Brand new audio interface I bought, malfunctioning. Only for the support center to tell me to go and fix it. Something I never used at all... I had to buy a different brand which is working fine. I wasted my money buying fake defective Presonus... And honestly I am angry 😡 with this company.
Hi, I want to connect this interface to amplifier that has 2x RCA AUX, so what cable I need to plug in to main out on interface, 6.3mm TS or 6.3mm TRS? Thanks :)

Go TS. TRS would pretty much be useless when it's an RCA conversion.
