A lot of these had Santino Marella in them. He was such an underrated talent. Did everything he was asked of and did it well. One of the funniest guys there.

I'm literally wearing my ancient Santino shirt right now. He was so great, never afraid to make fun of himself or anyone else. I'll never forget the reaction the crowd had to him when the WWE came to my city to wrestle. We all lost our minds.
Randy is that friend in the background of an argument talking about “Oh did you here what he said” “Beat his ass” “I know you about to let him talk to you like that”🤣🤣

In the middle of an angry and intense promo, Sid Vicious coughed. And politely said "Excuse me." And went right back to his promo. That will always be my favorite moment of breaking character.

Fun Fact: The People's Elbow was actually created by The Rock to try and make The Undertaker break Kayfabe and there were lockeroom competitions too see who could make The Dead Man smile or laugh. The leg shaking part was so ridiculous it almost broke Taker in the early years and The Rock kept it.

There was a time when The Undertaker broke character at a house show when after a match Kurt Angle kissed him before leaving the ring. The undertaker grabbed a mic and said something along the lines of "It's a long way home"
Back then he was American Badass so it doesn't really matter 😁
Cena's reaction at "Used to is a rooster from Brewster" get's me every time. The slow resignation in his face that seems to be saying "well what do you expect me to do guys, this one is just too good". XD
My favourite moment of The Rock breaking characters was a segment he did with Team Rhode Scholars… They ask the Rock which film won an Oscar for best picture and someone in the crowd shouts out “The Tooth Fairy” and he breaks 😂

What I like that Romans managed to do is to incorporate that large smile and head shake in to the Tribal Chiefs persona so even in character he does smile and indulge until things need to get serious and them someone gets smashed.

Highkey, it's always gonna be a good time whenever a wrestler, or performer in this industry in general, breaks character. I know everyone is gonna love it no matter how upset exects get. To add to this, I believe R-Truth and Santino are the best in the art of breaking, and should be future legends to be remembered for that, along with their skills in the ring.
Rumor has it, Solo Sikoa was dying-laughing from the whole Ucey and Sami Uso thing. 🤣

He used to do those all the time in OVW. He only botched it at Mania because he had never tried it after an hour long match.
@@redrick8900 I think it more to do with the distance. Kurt was too far away so instead of going for height to complete the summersault Lesnar had to jump close to the middle of the ring
@@dbszady No. That's the distance he normally did it at. He just botched because he was exhausted. I watched that match with a guy who trained with him. I went to OVW.

When I was younger, there was a lot of wrestlers I didn't particular like (as you don't generally like the heels as a child). But watching some of documentaries about these older wrestlers (Like The Iron Sheik, Roddy Piper etc), you realise how funny they actually were.
I think Santino even said it himself that his intension was to make wrestlers loose it. R-Truth's been a staple throughout the years trying to crack people up. It was pretty funny when he went to NXT recently.
At the moment I think Sammy Zahn holds that crown, or maybe even Danhausen.

This video is excellent. Not sure how long it must have taken to collate all these clips (some of which are very obscure), but it's an excellent job. It might not be as polished as the bigger content providers such as Cultaholic or WhatCulture, but it's definitely more enjoyable. An ECW vs WWF/WCW.

Triple H is definitely one of the goats of comedy in wwf/wwe. Genuinely hilarious and quick witty responses.
My favorite with Taker is where he teamed with Kurt Angle against Stone Cold & Booker T. In a back stage segment, Kurt comes out in glasses & hand band like Taker & he reacts almost immediately. Then he has to grunt & cover his mouth to keep from laughing as Kurt says, "You're an American Badass. I'm an Olympic Gold Medalast. If you put Stone Cold & Booker together, you get a horse's ass."

I remember back when NXT was the reality style contest and Bruan Danielson was a contestant...they had him debating Miz with other wrestlers on stage as judges with two particular wrestlers CM Punk and Wiiliam Reagal sitting next to each other. Miz asked him if he thought he was a better wrestler than him and the camera panned to Punk and Reagal where both were grinning and shaking their heads saying YES! That was hilarious!

It was a damn shame they never pulled the trigger on the Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho Universal Championship match at Wrestlemania instead of Lesner vs. Goldberg II, would have paid good money to see that version of the match as opposed to what we had. Love watching wrestlers break character or go that extra mile to try and get a fellow wrestler to crack, shows comradrie.
