Samoa Joe’s “ Nope! “ is a thing of beauty 😂😂😂
KennyKing/Kaz catches nothing but canvas. Mike Tenay was gold with that
They put the best one at honorable mention. Joe's wall away
He has no time for rope rope moves.
True 😂😅
I laugh everytime I see him walk away from the person he's facing attempting the top rope or any rope move
1:28 I love how, in mid air, he's gesturing like "wtf hold on, this wasn't part of the script!"
"wait, come back Joe!"
That had me dying. By far the best "Nope" combo in history
every time i see that moment it just kills me. it's such a hilarious moment
I love how he takes footage form all promotions for this video, not limiting it to JUST the WWE. Great moves and counters and chain wrestling sequences can come from anywhere, from TNA/Impact to AEW to RoH to New Japan to the Indies to anywhere else where pro wrestling takes place or has taken place.
Samoa Joe's thinking when he came up with that: "I can't get hit, if i am not there, where my oponnent is landing"
No. 1 rule : Dont fly around if you ever find yourself in a match against Randy Orton.
No. 2 rule: Don't ever set up a powerbomb on Billy Kidman
No. 3 rule: Never perform aerial moves against Samoa Joe
No. 4 rule: never jump from the ropes if you have a match with Shawn Michaels
Rule Number 5: They call aerials High Risk for a reason, DON'T DO THEM.
No. 6 Rule :Don't try to grape or give submission if you are having a match with William Regal
1:28 best moment of the nope yet 😂😂
1:27 THE REF LMAOOOOOO!!!
Joe's walk aways are too funny and i dont know why lol
Samoa Joe has the highest IQ in wrestling history
Actually Scott Steiner does! I mean for FUQ sake he did come from a highly educated university after all 😂
RKO counters are a thing of beauty
Styles countering Rollins’ stomp into the styles clash was one of my favorites, I’ve never seen that before.
Nobody countered movesbetter than Benoit. He could counter every one into that crossface
yea its sad what happened to him. he had CTE really bad. the diving headbutt gave him brain damage.
A.J. Styles hitting move cancels irl is so funny to me
1:27 still the best one ive ever seen, his the first ive seen to actually respond to the walk off 🤣 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This video made me realize just how many RKOs Dolph Ziggler ate
Ngl....Samoa Joe's nope is just savage 💯😂
14:30 - Just....HOWWWW?!?!?!?! lol
Orton's RKO to Gable has to be one of the most underrated RKO's of all time....dayum that was dope
4:05 Shawn didnt connect on that kick to shane at all 😂
I ain't gonna lie to you man. I absolutely hated that move, the *"Coast to Coast"* from Shane. Granted, that's undeniable though, But at least be honest, it's the Van-Daminator/Van-Terminator, coming from RVD, and Shane just yoinked it from under his nose, but even then, Kudos to Shawn for countering and stopping that horrendous move. I hated Shane at that time period.
@@usamazahid3882 whoever's idea it was to try to hit the SCM while he's mid air doing the coast to coast was a idiot I get it would've "looked cool" but I would've been like yeah but if we don't pull it off everyone's going to see me clearly botch it cause if Shawn would've went all the way for it he could've easily hurt shane
Two best moves in wrestling: “The Flair Flop” and Samoa Joe’s “Nope”
Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle and Bret Hart like the best wrestlers of all time for me ...
That tombstone attempt reversed into a DDT by HBK is one of my best reversals ever
It was so so so smooth!!
Eddie's F5 reversal into DDT is really smooth too!
It was not smooth at all lol. Taker practically landed on Shawn's ribs
are you kidding me? The whole thing was a totally botch :D undertaker basically landet ON shawn michaels here... no DDT at all.
@@lilsand.that’s easily one of my favorite of all time
12:32 That is some top tier selling right there 🤣🤣🤣
Randy has to be number one 😂😅 and I knew it😂😅. I just wish we got a Randy vs DDP match a long time ago 😢
Same. But Vince just had to bury DDP.
@@fromolwyoming yeah
Damn, the Eddie segments just made me want to go watch all of his matches with Malenko. Those two were magic in that squared circle.
Eddie had the prettiest counters.
Man, DDP was a great performer. And easy to see that Orton learned how to hit the RKO from so many angles as well from it.
19:17 Now that's what I call adding insult to injury. First insult, then injury 😂
The way Angle pulled Orton down 😂😂 16:51
Oomph!
Diamond Cutter...prototype of RKO
DDP made the cutter cool but Randy improved it
1:28 “What the heck, man?”
I laughed for 5 solid minutes.
Between the way the diamond cutter and RKO are done 👌🏽 mint! 😂
This compilation just shows how beautiful wrestling can be.
You can see that the Young Bucks really took to heart what they learned under HBK, can't you? And I think it's Joe's swagger more than anything that sells it, like, "oh, you're taking flight? Okay, enjoy the view, I'll jus be over here"! You even saw it in the montage, he was like, "eh, what?"!
Lol I've been binge watching these videos and now a brand new one
Kudos to the opponents as well. They sold the moves really well. I love watching good sellers.
Eddie untying his shoe for the ankle lock is such an amazing reversal
15:28 is one of the best ddts ive ever seen it was perfect
15:48
.....except the 20-something examples of people escaping it in the proceeding scenes :)
Really good video tho
That RKO is a thing of beauty
You Can't Powerbomb Kidman was such a thing even watching WCW in the day that I remember being a kid, seeing Kidman actually take a powerbomb and being VERY surprised.
Benoit's counter was called The Reload.
4:07 I have been looking for this moment for years but could not remember when it happened. I was starting to wonder if I had imagined it.
I'm so happy that last Joe walkaway made it in. Best reaction from the victim ever.
Joes last one at 1:30 has me dead I swear it’s the man raising his arms like where you going and turning while diving for meh dude holyshit 😂😂😂😂
Idk if it counts as a reversal but Eddie faking chair shots to get his opponent in trouble is top tier
9:51 can anyone else hear a Mario-esque "wahooo" really faintly lol?
1:28 this moment is freaking hysterical. It’s just just flying mid air sees Joe walk away and this guy mid air asking where are you going?
Such a good video.
Cool Counters
Benoit became so much better in WWE. He learned to slow down and let moments breath and they protected the crossface so pretty much if he got it on, the match was over. Its what made these counters so effective. God I wish he got some help.
This video has been in my feed and I never really read the title… I was expecting 20 minutes of Samoa Joe just walking away 😂😂😂😂😂
Love how kurt angle is in all the clips possibles 😂😂
AJ Style's counter of the Angel's Wings to pin Christopher Daniels in the match with Samoa Joe at Unbreakable 2005 is one of my favorite (if not favorite) counters of all time - I wish it was included in AJ's list (although I know it wasn't a counter into a finisher).
I knew the Shelton Benjamin counter was gonna be on here for Shawn. Like holy cow
15:18 oof he took that bump hard on his head, even Rey is like "oh shit"
Tna aj styles was on par with prime hbk
Ali's rko counter was amazing!
DDP really invented Athena/Ember Moon’s o-face/eclipse before anyone else 🤯🙏🏼 6:37
😄😄😄 brah. . . Old boy shrugging at samoa joe in mid air at 1:30.
Best one
We need "8hrs of RKO" video.. 💥
Can’t believe you didn’t mention the 619. It started as a counter to an Irish Whip in WCW but then became his finisher in WWF/E
Brett must have been thinking about stone cold when he got that diamond cutter
The codebreaker by Y2J is an underrated outta nowhere move
Bro the dude that stared at Joe while he was walking away 😂😂😂 im crying
Damn. That aj styles special is crazy😂 i didn't watch a lot of wrestling growing up, mostly with my cousin when i was over there. Him and his dad was wrestling fans. I know im late to the party but I ain't never seen a wrestler pick up someone by the legs. Restrain their arms so they cant fall resist and belly flop slam onto them. They feel all of that finisher. Hes a foo wit it for that. 😂 Really impressive
@9:27 off the pole with it too 😂
Samoa Joe is a good representation of what wrestlers should do when in the same instances instead of waiting to catch them
RKO outta nowhere is truly one of mankind's greatest masterpieces.
Orton is so wholesome. He's the type of guy you love to see get hyped.
"That was beautiful!!!", as Regal drops RVD on his neck.
regal has alwasys been one of the smoothest grappler out there. he can put you in a prezzle before you notice what he doing
Honorable mention: Kevin Owens' superplex counter to reverse fisherman suplex
Samoa Joe's nope is the best one ever 😂😅
And now that diamand cutter is saving lives!!! Yeah my spelling sucks lol.
Orton and Styles pointing at each other was the Spider-man meme.
1:26 I don't know whose reaction is better the ref or the guy missing the next dive ..
"Wanna see my cool Samoa Joe impression?" (walks away) 😂
Every other counter is a "move". RKO is art!
Interesting. I never realized Billy Kidman modified his powerbomb counter into a sitout while in the WWF. I wonder why the change.
1:26 the ref😂😂😂
It's crazy that dean malenko isn't even in the honorable mentions here
This video made me understand what the big deal is about AJ Styles. Great video!
The Lychee and Steel attitude.
Tajiri attempting a powerbomb.... that's not believeable xD
Notice the overlap in great workers with other great workers. 95 to 05 will probably never be topped.
My favourite counter was the rko on Evan Bourne. The timing on that is outragous
At 1 min 30 seconds, dude is flying through the air has this wtf look on his face. 😵💫
kalisto not being here is criminal
aj is so good! he is the only wrestler who said to himself "randy might do a rko out of nowhere so i need to watch out for it". everyone else just jump to it. same with samoa joe walking away from a move.
one of the smartest wrestlers.
i love when he forcefully picks up people for a styles clash. there is a reason why wrestlers, including kurt angle, call him the best.
01:27 Taz losing it 🤣😂🤣
You missed John Morrison he is one of the bests out there ❤
I thought the Pedigree was the silliest move. "Bend over and drop your head for minute." No, no, stay still, let me grab each arm. Don't move." "When I jump, straighten your body."
However, Styles Clash is worse. "Let me step around your arms" "Come on you need to help me here, so I can drop you on your belly." "Now, pretend you're knocked out from a 3 inch fall."
the funniest clip of this video 19:32
The styles clash
Watch out watch out watch out!!
1:27 bro complained in mid air
How many people tred to powerbomb kidman before they realised its a stupid idea.
Anyone knows where i can find full old matches( i know it.s impossible, but still...)
I didn't respect the rko at first cuz i was a big ddp fan
Moral of the story: do not execute jumping moves... Especially against Orton...
It took me years to love William Regal
He is incredibly talented but just didn't have a character I think that resonated with the American audience.
7:30 what is this move called?
