England found themselves at 79-3 in their second innings, still 55 runs behind New Zealand's first innings total of 523. Yet they incredibly ended up winning the match, with Ben Stokes proving the star of the show. Having smashed the fastest Test century at Lord's the day before, Stokes removed New Zealand's two best players in consecutive deliveries, during a wonderful spell of bowling.

Stokes' delivery to remove McCullum was different class. A bit of in swing and prodigious movement off the deck, absolutely unplayable - it practically cut McCullum in half.

Guys , I watched 3 out of the 4 days of the test match. On final day , post lunch when Bairstow got out I got so nervous that on Sunday evening in India , I went to my office and started finishing my backlog work. Commentry on crickinfo was on though.
After England were 9 down, I thought it's all over and stopped following that as well. When I looked after 20 minutes England required 8 to win. I had absolute goosebumps. I prayed non stop for next 5 minutes or so and after 5 minutes it was Euphoria of a lifetime

My, my there are some idiot comments below - it was simply lovely cricket - happens all round the world with different countries/series etc. Why do some people have to make sad and ignorant comments and not just enjoy the greatest game on Earth. At some point people will realise that the ecb don’t post these videos to make England fans feel better for losing away to Australia and New Zealand, but instead just do it to remind people of previous test series between the countries so that people watch the current ones. Also apparently no one is aware that these videos would obviously have been planned months in advance and so it’s just a coincidence that England are doing badly atm. We were at one point effectively -60/3 but still won by 124 runs. Cooks 162 and Roots 84 swung the game in England's favour as Cooks 162 more than wiped out the 1st innings deficit.

After comming of t20 now every batsman tried to play shot . no player tried to defend the ball. Thats y fall of wicket is so quickly. Now the coaches like Rahul Dravid is required to appoint by every nation in place of regular t20 or ODI coaches. It will give the old wine flavour to the game. I think 90% of players dont know how to stop the ball. Second why the ball is in air in test match. Thiz r technical points which a good coach can tell

This video is just the 4th innings, so you don't actually get to see the turnaround. NZ were on top for most of the match until they fell apart chasing 345. It's mostly remembered because it was one of the rare occasions where England actually held their nerve.
