For example, today I bout a weider legacy adjustable bench, and on the box it says 410 pound total weight capacity. But guess what? After I opened it and read the manual, it's says that it's only for the users weight. The actual capacity for if you use a barbell it 110 pounds! I've never seen this channel before, but I loved this video. So hilarious when the barbell started to bend in real time! Thanks for doing this, I'm sure it helped many people.
Great video! Ive recently been looking to build a home gym for a number of reasons. I am not new to gyms or lifting but it we've all seen other youtuber channels who review multi thousand dollar setups and I dont see the need to spend that much money. Is the Wal-Mart system perfect? No. But people dont need to spend a lot of money to get equipment to get a good workout. I might not buy the bench and floor equipment you did but the plates and dumbells are great for the price. Do you research and shop around.
I thought about buying that to compare it to the “name brand” versions back when it was like $120 at Walmart Hope you didn’t pay too much For its current price you could actually get a decent bench and an ok rack
I don't have confidence in that at all.. if I had only $500 I'd but a tru grit kettlebell set from best buy 26lb, 35lb, 44lb, 53lb, 62lb, and 70lb. Comes out less than $500 after tax
That's lie $500 for those equipments. B4 pandemic they were cheaper. During pandemic prices for those equipments sky rocketed. Even today it's still cost a lot. Since he up loaded not long ago. 500 bucks can't buy all thos equipment s. What he trying to say is more in the $1k mark
I paid less than $500 and I do mention that I got some of the stuff on clearance, for example the dumbbell set retailed for $150 and I got it for $75. I see what you’re saying but I’m not lying 🤷🏻♂️ Point of the video was even at $500 this stuffs not worth it. Spend a little more and get some quality equipment
Walmart is the way to go. most people will never need more than what you have there. it's pointless to spend so much money is roge or other companies....
That was hilarious! The stand was more sturdy with the over capacity level of weight. The whole set up is a disaster in the making. Take that $500 and join a gym. Then when you can afford it, go elsewhere for better quality. I bought budget gym equipment at Dick's Sporting Goods and Dunhams's 25 years ago and still use it multiple times a week. Nothing is broken and still looks good. That Walmart junk would last a month if you are lucky.
I used a similar setup for almost a year before COVID, wasn’t very strong though and immediately upgraded as soon as I could. I would say saving up and getting the stuff you really want is the best option.
I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the th-cam.com/users/postUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B

your American flag is hanging incorrectly, the field of blue needs to be on the left in that orientation
Yeah someone commented that like 2 years ago thanks though
I've never seen this channel before, but I loved this video. So hilarious when the barbell started to bend in real time! Thanks for doing this, I'm sure it helped many people.
I hope it helped a lot. Glad you enjoyed the video, poor barbell 😂
Thanks bro. Very helpful
Gold's gym xrs20 is identical
i am your 900th subscriber
👏👏👏👏👏 yeah buddy!!! 🙏🏼
What is the weight capacity of the bar thanks
That bench looks like it would fold underneath you if you’re benching some heavy weights. Don’t snap some shit
That’s what I was always afraid of lol
A 3 piece barbell?wow that's scary but what would sway people is if ya actually started lifting with that bar till it broke
Thank you
Great video!
Couldn’t agree more!
Thanks so much for watching and enjoying the content grumpy old man!
If it wasn’t for k mart or Walmart gym equipment I wouldn’t have ever started working out.
If it wasn’t for Kmart or Walmart work out equipment I would have never started working out
I can say the same for owning workout equipment at all
Go up and up!
I am late but I bought the rs 60 I hope it’s alright
I thought about buying that to compare it to the “name brand” versions back when it was like $120 at Walmart
Hope you didn’t pay too much
For its current price you could actually get a decent bench and an ok rack
@@TrainerBigMike yeah we use a bidding site and almost got it for 17 bucks but we forgot to bid so now we are going for something way better

Cool video bro keep it up 💪
Thanks brother 💪 appreciate the view
I’m new to fitness
LFG! 💪💪💪💪💪
Your American flag is hung backwards, just FYI
I’ve always wonder, nobody said anything so 🤷🏻♂️ thanks for stepping up brother, I’ll fix it
@@TrainerBigMike Anytime brother! I made the same mistake a few years ago haha
Was just about to say this. Great info, But the backwards flag kept distracting me. Stars first like you're reading. Upper left at all times.
Great video I subbed
Thanks so much for the sub and I hope you continue to enjoy the content 💪
Great video thanks for your time and help 🏋️
Great Video fam.
How much dose the Olympic bar hold
I wouldn’t put anything more than 300lbs but it’s advertised for 400lbs
Ok thanks
How did you score those dumbbells for $75?
Clearance
Great content
The very generic weights at Wal-Mart aren't even priced competitively.
Very true, not anymore
How long is the bar
7ft
Good video!
I don't have confidence in that at all.. if I had only $500 I'd but a tru grit kettlebell set from best buy 26lb, 35lb, 44lb, 53lb, 62lb, and 70lb. Comes out less than $500 after tax
Sounds like a sick set of kettlebells! Thanks for watching and consider subscribing 💪
I had a bad experience at Best Buy.
I see what you’re saying but I’m not lying 🤷🏻♂️
Point of the video was even at $500 this stuffs not worth it. Spend a little more and get some quality equipment
Or 4: you aren’t cheap. You do know better. But you can’t afford the equipment you want
😂😂😂 yeah you’re right, same
Why texas he got cali flag in the back
W video
Walmart do I look like Elon musk I bought gym of temu
@@Fellashub maybe that’s the video I should do next
Walmart is the way to go. most people will never need more than what you have there. it's pointless to spend so much money is roge or other companies....

#CRAIGSLIST 😂👍
OR you just wanna stay sane 💯
Hahahaha that didn’t occur to me until maybe a month ago 😭
for a latin american, thats its not that bad
Damn I think my wrist wraps would last longer than that rack
GO uP!!!!!! (scary)
Rah
Glenn B
Most people don't need to go for a 1RM or do AMRAPs, stop 2 reps shy of failure 💪🏼
two words. facebook marketplace.
@@thomassutherland5188 you can definitely find some deals on there now. When I made this video it was still cheaper to buy in most stores/online cause people (in my area at least) were gouging prices hard
