Tracing and making colored layers in Inkscape

- This was a request from a viewer. She wanted to trace Chip from Beauty and the Beast. In this video, I'll find a usable image of him, trace him, create all the colored layers and put a solid background behind him, then bring the svg into Design Space for cutting.

That was the most Helpful video in regards to changing PNG’s or JPG’s to SVG’s with color. AND you just saved me $249 a year so that I don’t have to buy illustrator. This video was super helpful!! I'm just getting into the inkspace but i also found out that while doing this....when you go to fill in the same color of different spaces if you hold down the shift key as click each spot with the paint can it automatically makes it one path so you dont have to keep moving your outline or clicking on each one to make them a path.

You could also use the "dropper" sampler from your object (image prior to tracing) image to make, colors an exact match. I'm always good with fewer decisions that don't truly matter in the end - like you said, the paper you choose makes the difference.
