One thing I love about this thing that many people don't talk about is the cold smoke feature. In smoker mode turn the temperature all the way down until it changes to cold smoke mode. I cold smoked a cheddar cheese block as well as salsa. Delicious!
Great video Peter. Glad you got your new Woodfire Grill. I know your going to love it as much as I love mine. I smoked a very nice Prime Rib in mine last Sunday and it came out just great, very moist and delicious. So enjoy and I'll be looking forward to your first cook and video with your new grill. Take care and stay safe in OK. Starting to warm up here in Preskitt.
I smoked two delicious Chuck roast (poor mans brisket) at the same time in this thing. served it to family with a side of Jack Stacks BBQ sauce. it's so good. haven't tried prime rib yet, I got to try it this upcoming Christmas or thanksgiving!
I got the XL 4in1 for $300. That’s $150 less than the XL Pro Connect. I don’t need the dehydrate and the air fry is close enough to broil. AFAIK bake and roast are the same thing, at least in normal terminology. I’d really like to see a comparison of temperature ranges, fan speeds, and heating element activation for comparison. I have looked at manuals in stores and searched online with no luck on comparing these features. If you want me to check my unit to compare for a future video, please let me know.
I looked at that because of the price, but I wanted the temp probes and app for my phone. I agree that I will not use the dehydrator feature... thanks for the comment! Peter
Hi Peter Called ninja cs, your price and the 3 year warranty are not available at this time. Does ninja have different promos on this model during the year? Any suggestions for best price etc? Do you prefer the larger model?
Hi Bruce, I have no idea about Ninjas pricing schedule. I am not sponsored by them and I don't work for them... I just like their products. The only reason for the larger unit is to cook a little more food at one time. I have also found the temp gauges to be helpful but you could use another temp probe that has an app. I hope this helps. Peter
