Awesome breakdown Kenna! Definitely upgrading soon, just wish Ninja would give a longer period in between introduce bigger models, first the Speedi and then the woodfire. Most families cant afford to change out models so quickly. Have a fantastic weekend, you always ROCK! cheers 🥂🥂
Yes, they crank them out really quick. Even I cant keep up sometimes. Or they offer a trade in program since they are so pricey and the models change so quick. Thanks so much
Got the XP model two weeks ago, I've used it a half dozen times so far, trying out different meats and cuts. An absolutely fantastic machine! A little bit of a learning curve as it cooks so fast. Getting ready to incorporate the thermometers more for advanced cooking control, I did compared the build in thermometer to my hand held model and they were pretty close in their readings. Looking forward to your showing us how to really use this unit. I did purchase the ninja table for the wood fire grills, its a good investment. Thank You for your informative videos.
I love using it for a weekday meal. Its convenient, easy clean up and doesnt feel like im sacrificing anything when I do use it:) Also, thanks for the info about the thermometer, and thanks for watching!
Love my XL Pro Connect - I unboxed it solo, though it does indicate a 2-person lift so I hope you had help! Hint: Ignore the included recipes - your own would be better, and buy some better pellets! It's 30% bigger than the original WFG. I am finishing up 2 racks of baby back ribs that I started using the optional rib rack, and are now wrapped, coming up to temperature using the thermometer and monitoring as I am typing this. I also bought the optional griddle plate and it works great, too (can you say Smash Burgers?)!
Glad to hear you are enjoying it! and I agree 100% about the included recipes....only follow those if you like your food....overdone ;) I haven't gotten the griddle plate, but I bet it works wonderfully! Theyre so easy to clean, id use that way more than my propane flat iron. And I can say smash burgers....I wish I was eating one right now! Thanks for watching :)
Looking forward to your unboxing. I got mine a few months ago but haven't used it yet. This will inspire me to use this weekend. I got the blue one, too!
I really want to do a brisket but think I better do something less expensive until I get the hang of it...probably chicken (thighs) and burgers. I'll keep watching you for tips, instruction, and ideas!
Kenna! Love your Ninja videos - they've been so informative and helpful. I pulled the trigger and bought an XL Pro Connect - arrived yesterday. Got it from Kohl's - 30% off so was about $340 + lots of Kohl's cash. For anyone here reading this - consider buying it from Kohl's if you're in the market for a Ninja woodfire grill. Interesting you mentioned a cover - I didn't see any indication it came with a cover. Anyways - look forward to smoking and grilling on this bad boy!
Thank you! I am glad they are helpful. And im glad you got a deal, nice! Thanks for the tip. And my XL didn't come with a cover, which im still salty about.... Enjoy your cooks!
I've ordered one too! Getting it in about a week! Looking forward to it. One sad thing, is the place that sells it in my country didn't have the 50/50 griddle/grill plate.
PK300 for me any day. Can’t beat it. It’s an awesome grill and a steak cooking machine with the grill grates. Besides you can’t duplicate cooking on quality lump wood charcoal and wood chunks.
Your awesome Kenna, love the Blue! Man I would love the Ninja wood fire grill, sadly can't afford it right now (damn economy!) Got to pay all the inflated bills arghh!!
Adulting be like that :/ Hopefully there will be some good deals coming up this holiday season. Someone did mention they got a great deal from Kohls on their Ninja, so could be worth checking that out and keeping an eye out for one of their sales. Good luck, and thanks for watching :)
Great video! I would be interested in finding out the accuracy of the bundled thermometers. Some users maintain that the readings given by the XL unit and the thermometers are iffy.
Someone just commented and let me know that they haven't noticed any inconsistencies with the thermometer that comes with it and their personal one. However its a good questions so maybe I can make a video about that soon. Thanks!
I bought XL Pro in Israel a week ago and was upset that my grill doesnt have Dehydrate mode :( Because in Israel we got 850 model that also doesn't have a "connect" it means that probes can not connect to app. Anyway this device is much cooler than my previous grill Weber Q1200.
Am I the only one who would dread having to clean that air frying basket? The grill grate style basket which I have with my Ninja 7 in 1 Air Fryer is so easy to clean.
No script, one take haha love it

The fact that the thermometer readings are fairly consistent is encouraging. Did you happen to compare the cooking temperature as well?

Awww, you gotta get the inaugural cook in for sure. Whatcha thinking? Ribs, Chicken, Brisket?

So exciting!! I hope you enjoy it. Sorry to hear about the griddle/grill plate. Maybe you can find one on a second hand website?

I haven't had the opportunity to cook on a PK grill but have heard wonderful things about them!
Ok I want this one!😀
Yeah the XL is pretty cool!
love your channel... thanks for sharing!

@@KennasKitchen That would be awesome! I'm wondering if the discrepancies may be coming from the cooking temperatures rather than the meat?
Any word on if they are coming out with a ninja woodfire outdoor oven XL anytime soon?
I haven't heard anything but im pretty out of the loop until something new comes out! Sorry :/

Aww bummer! Im sorry to hear that :(
The technical term is Ground Fault Indicator.
Oh, thanks!
🎉🎉🎉
Is there any reason why the big XL version is only 1800 watts while the smaller version is 2500 watts?
They've been pulled from the UK market at the moment because of issues with the RCD plug tripping. 😢
Uh oh... Thanks for the update.
😮😮😮
Oh yeah

I have a cleaning brush for cast irons that I use to clean the grates. It works like a charm!
Cleaning is apart of the game 😂
