The wonderful Peggy Mount.. She was a star. The casting for this was superb. Those were the days, comic office cleaners and the tea trolley coming around at break time. Always a happy working environment and no stress. Love this film.

The 2nd piece of advice I've always lived by is never admit you're at fault. Just state the facts as they are asked and nothing more. Great movie!

I swear a very young, waifish (until she opened her mouth,) Juliette Kaplan played the communistic, worker's party Mrs. Higgins. BUT IMDB says it was Miriam Karlin. I'm sure they're right but still. In the film, that chick looks and talks just like Juliette Kaplan......
WOLFROY47 A lot were sent off to so called new towns like Milton Keynes (the place with no roads and plastic cows in the middle of fields.) It destroyed the London communities... Believe me you would not recognise the East end now its Mass migrant land and those terreced houses are still standing but full of migrants who were allowed to buy them up cheap by the successive govts. 😡😡😡 I'm a Londoner and moved out because no one speaks English anymore. 💩
